"Guys you can't believe it!" Ash came as Missy followed her behind, we are going to downtown to eat dinner, I am loving this new freedom of mine – I can enjoy more time with my friends and my body is not a canvass to Joe.
"What it is?" Missy asked, as we climbed at her car I take the front seat while Ash take the back seat
"Wait where's Michael?" I looked around before turning to Missy
"He is having basketball tryout" she answered me, then rolled her eyes, I furrowed why I feel that she doesn't like the idea of it?
"Anyways" Ash waved her hands impatiently "Do you know Belle?" She asked, Missy and I both nodded
"She gave Mr. Bailey chocolates" she giggled, I rolled my eyes and shake my head, trust Ash to be on top of the gossip game
"How did you know?" Missy looked at her in the rear view mirror
"Belle is with me in my English Literature class, she stayed behind and I returned because I forgot my folder, then the door is open ajar and I peeked into it and I saw Belle and Mr. Bailey were talking. I heard Mr. Bailey saying thanks about the chocolate and he will appreciate if she will not be giving him anymore" wow Belle is one of the prettiest girl in the batch, there lots of boys in our school who wanted to date her, she's also part of the cheerleading team, but she's also known to be a bully
"You're one nosy prick Ash" Missy scowled at her
"I am not yet finish, Mr. Bailey told her that he is interested with someone and he wanted that their relationship be strictly professional , and if she do it again, he will report her"
"I will report her too if I am Mr. Bailey" Missy said
"That's not the point Missy" she rolled her eyes, and flipped her hair
"What's the point then?" I asked her
She looks at me dumfounded as if my questions insulted her "That he is interested with someone!" she shouts as if we are missing the obvious
"So that's a news now?" Missy sarcastically said
"Of course it is Missy! Imagine being that girl, you will be one lucky bitch!" She giggled. I looked ahead and I feel a little hurt, so he doesn't have a girlfriend but he is interested with someone – someone his age I supposed, and someone as successful as he is, well I really don't know how successful he is but maybe he already accomplished something with his age.
Why would be he interested with someone who has a fucked up family and emotional baggages, not to mention a high schooler. I shake my head and tried my best to erase Mr. Bailey on my mind, the things he shows to me is just a genuine concern of a teacher or a friend and nothing else. I sighed, what would I expect with someone like him? I curse myself for thinking that I can be someone aside being his student. That's the line between us, I am his student and he is my teacher.
"Do you have a crush on Mr. Bailey Ash?" Missy asked her
"Who wouldn't?" She raised her eyebrows,Missy just laughed, as Ash continued to talk about how gorgeous Mr. Bailey is, damn I am trying to get him out of my mind but Ash just keeps on talking, I can't help agreeing on her in my mind, every time she says how good he looks.
We reached the restaurant that we wanted, we went down and entered. We chose a table, and Missy asked for a glass of water while I am looking at the menu Missy nudged Ash
"You're in luck" she whispers to her
"Why? Ohh" Ash said as she looked ahead, I turned my head and saw Mr. Bailey entering the diner. I returned my eyes on the menu hoping he will not see me, then I realize why do I need to hide from him? And why did he decided to eat here on the same restaurant we wanted to eat as well.
