I knocked on Rob's door, and I heard him say "come in" in his most uninterested voice, it is my first time to hear it because I am so used on his voice when he knows I am the one knocking.
I opened the door, and I could see him behind his laptop with his glasses on, gosh! I miss him so much, I could run immediately and fall in to his lap, but I just stare at him.
Rob lifted his head, his brows furrowed then his mouth opened when he saw me, he immediately stood up removing his glasses and strides towards me. I throw my arms on him the moment he pulled me.
"I thought tonight was your flight?" He asked me as he embraced me pulling me off the ground twirling me
"I wanted to surprise you" I giggled as he place me back down the ground. I cupped his face and he leaned and hold to it
"How was New Jersey?" He asked me and kissed my palms just then the classroom door opened we immediately separated
"Oh sorry Mr. Bailey I thought you're alone" Linda Myer said and turned to me "Hello Eli, you're back" she smiled, I smiled back
"Yeah just returned earlier, and I dropped here to submit my special projects" I explained to her
"Oh, okay. Mr. Bailey I need to talk about you about something" she bit her lips and then looked at me, and I know it is something I don't need to listen.
"I leave you both alone, Mr. Bailey thank you" I told him and I pulled out my phone for me to text him
Eli: I'll wait you at my house
After I arrived from New Jersey, I went home to get my car and come straight here. The trip over all was nice at least I know what to expect the next time I visit, I went home to wait for Rob I don't know what Linda wanted but I know it was something important she will not bother to go Rob's room if it wasn't. I unlocked my house as I went to my room.
My suit case is still scattered on my floor, so I opened up and removed all my dirty clothes and placed it on the hamper. While I am fixing my things I remembered what Alex told me about Rob and his family, I don't know when will I ask him or when he will open up, but I decided to ask him when the time is right.
I continue to fix my things when someone knocked at my door, weird Rob should know the codes of my house. So before I went down I stowed my suit case back on his place before opening the door.
I unlocked my door and to my surprise it was mom, but I don't have any chance to register any emotions as she was not alone behind her is a tall slender man with crooked nose and dirty blonde hair, his black eyes stared at me as he points a gun to me so I immediately step backward.
"No!" My mom cried
"Shut up!" He growled, as he steps forward and I step backward while he held the gun at me, once inside he locked the door and throw my mom at the couch
"So you're the daughter of James" he sneered at me
"Jack please, leave her alone! I'm here now take me, just leave my daughter alone!" she cried, so this is Jack Hale? I looked at my mom, and she is severely beaten, what the hell happened? Jack walk slowly towards me as I step backward until I was pinned at the wall, he locked his hands on each side of me
"Tell me Amelia, why would I take you, if I can take your daughter instead?" He held my hair and smelled it "She's young and she's fresh" my hair at the back begun to rise
"All of my gang except for Joe is on jail Amelia because of you, I almost got into jail, my assets are frozen tell me! Tell me how can you repay me?!" Jack shouted not taking his eyes on me, as I continue to look at him.
