I looked at my friends, as Ash keeps glancing at me and then at Rob. I glanced at him and he smiled, he rubbed my back very gently, then he leaned his face on my ears
"You've got this?" He whispered, I nodded he then smile and kissed my forehead, ignoring Ash sighs
"I'll leave you alone ladies, I'll be in my office" he said. When we heard Rob closed the door of his office. Ash came towards me, pulling my hands
"You have a lot to explain Elizabeth Jane Reed!" Then she throw herself in the couch, I looked at Missy and she is smiling at me
"All this time I am talking how hot and gorgeous he is, crushing him over, being tongue tied around him, but my best friend is dating and probably fucking him already?" Ash laughed, I looked at her and she continued her rants
"He can hear you, you know" I reminded him, she just rolled her eyes towards me then continued laughing shaking her head, I turned my head to Missy
"You knew?" I asked Missy squinting my eyes towards her, she laughed and flipped her hair
"I have an idea, but it was confirmed yesterday" she simply said, but she has this smug look on her face that is creeping me out
"After Benjamin attacked?" I asked her, she might be observing a lot, I tried to act cool about it
"No, it was before the ball started" and she pointed at my wrist, I looked at her confused, she sighs and approached me and grabbed my left hand "This" she touched the bracelet Rob gave to me, I immediately pulled my arms from her
"How did you know?" I asked her, placing my arm behind my back as if it will help me conceal the truth
"Wait guys I am here!" Ash complained, rolling her eyes once more but we ignored her as Missy and I just looked at one another, she took a deep breath breaking her gaze at me and sit beside Ash.
"Yesterday remember I went downtown, I saw Mr. Bailey, I greeted him and he said hi to me, I did not asked what he is doing there, but I can see he is choosing a bracelet, he was choosing between three, I was curious on what he's going to choose and I saw that he choose that one" Missy pointed at my bracelet
"You're nosy Missy" Ash chuckled as she looked at her surroundings again we ignored her, I am more interested at what Missy going to say
"Anyways I was choosing my own accessories for the ball, and I heard the cashier saying to him that his girlfriend will going to love it, Mr. Bailey just chuckled, then he went out from the store. So when I saw the bracelet, I thought it looks familiar then I suddenly remembered" Missy explained, now I know the the reason why she reacted that way last night
"So Mr. Bailey gave that to you?" Ash stand up and grabbed my wrist, she examined the bracelet carefully, brushing it with her fingers
"It's beautiful – wait, what? ER, RB" she hushed putting her hands on her mouth, and I knew she saw the inscription "you two are really together, and your relationship is really this serious" she seriously commented.
Missy take a good look too as well, she grabbed my wrist once more, and like Ash she brushed the bracelet with her fingers, then she turned her face back at me
"When both of you won best dressed, I was so happy for the both of you, I was about to ask you after your dance, but then Benjamin happened" Missy finally said.
"But you have been suspecting before that right?" I looked at her, she nods I take a deep breath, ok time to tell the truth there's no reason in denying it anyways.
"Alright I wanted to let you know, it's up to you if you guys are going to report us, I know this is unethical but if you are going to do, I will be expelled and Rob will be banned from teaching for the rest of his life" I looked at them
