"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Missy exclaimed as I told them what happened yesterday we are walking at he hallways, our last period is done, so Missy will go to his work while Ash will go to Michael's house
"Yeah, he's insane that prick" I muttered as I hugged my books tightly at my chest
"You know" Ash started, we all looked at her, she is currently munching on a bag of cheetos "Mr. Bailey is like your shinning armor" she said shrugging her shoulder
"You sound like a jealous girlfriend" Missy laughed, Missy glared at her as she let me hold her chips while opening her water bottle
"I mean he always appear at the exact moment. First he have a spare shirt for Eli, now he was there when Richard attack Eli" she said after she drinks. Missy just shake her head, while a rolled my eyes at Ash giving back her chips.
I just shake my head "I need to go guys" they both nodded and I waved at them as I watch them go to their cars and I went my way to the library
"Good afternoon Mrs. Geoff" I greeted her, she is standing at behind her computer
"Good afternoon Eli, kindly please arrange the stock room" she said without looking at me, I am so used of this kind of interaction already
"The stock room?" I asked, the last time I was there a cockroach landed on my arm, and I am still hesitant to go back their
"Is that alright then Mrs. Geoff?" Mr. Bailey voice suddenly said, I did not notice that he's the one sitting at Mrs. Geoff chair, she then turned to me before answering Mr. Bailey
"Yes stock room, now Ms Reed!" she sternly said that I flinched then she turned back at her computer as she answer Mr. Bailey's question
"Right" I mutter when I turned around. I walked towards the stock room and slowly opened the lights and looked around
"What happened in here?" I ask to myself as books and index cards are scattered around, I looked at the high cabinets and the books are also a mess, I made sure that there are no cockroaches around before I stepped inside
"So let me start at the bottom I guess" I rolled up my sleeves and get my hair tie to tie my hair up. I quickly collected the books and arranged them, once I am done at the bottom, I got the ladder to start the top shelves, I was busy fixing it and humming to entertain myself, when someone knocked the door, startling me resulting to loose my balance and the ladder begin to shake
"Shit!" I said, holding at the shelves, I looked down catching my breath and that's when I saw Mr. Bailey, I thought he is with Mrs. Geoff? What is he doing here now?!
"Careful Eli" Mr. Bailey said as he held the ladder to steady, I could see the worry on his face, but he smiled immediately when our eyes met.
"You gave me a fright!" I glared at him as I tried my best to compose myself, he just chuckled and pointed at me
"Need a hand?" He asked, I shake my head, and continue fixing the books
"Do you need a book again Mr. Bailey?" I asked as I stretched my hand to fix the book on the top part
"No, I really came to help you" I looked down at him again, I can see the he is still looking up, I looked down at my skirt, and my eyes widen! Can he see my under wear down there? I shifted my place just to make sure that he cannot see anything!
"I'm almost done here but you can start by getting the boxes at the right – Mr. Bailey" I added, I heard him chuckled but he went to fix the boxes scattered, after I am done I slowly went down the ladder and folded it to place it back at the corner
