LOVE BEYOND LESSONS (A Teacher and Student Romance)

I walked down from our stairs as I begin my week, despite what happened to me with Joe and my mom's frantic call I tried my best to be positive, I glanced at the drawer were the letter of my mom is kept, I just can't get the feeling of reading it just yet.

I went outside to check the mails as I saw the mail man pass from our house. I checked our mail box and there's a big red envelope and it is from Rutgers – New Brunswick, I stopped to gaze on it. I pulled the envelope and stash it in my school bag as I headed to my car.

I know I told Ash that Rutgers acceptance rate is decent compare to Harvard but I can't help to feel nervous. I went to school not opening the letter just yet, if I was not accepted then I don't know what will my plan B because it is the only school I applied to. My mood did not changed when Ash told us she was not accepted at NYU, this is not a good omen

"Well at least I have Columbia and Fordham to wait" she said, her usual happy self gone for the moment, I know she really wanted to be in NYU it's always her first choice.

"Yeah, let us just look on the bright side" Missy commented and she looked at Jayson. I wonder if they are really both serious going on their separate ways after summer. After what Missy said the day before new year's eve, she never mentioned anything about it anymore.

"I will be having a break from school after summer" Alice said to us

"Oh, wow really?" Ash turned her head to her, Alice nodded

"Yeah I wanted to travel, before thinking what will I study, I don't know if I wanted Economics or History, but my family wanted me to get Business" she take a deep breath

"It will be fine babe, don't worry" Tyler wrapped his shoulder to her

"Are you going to join her?" Missy asked her, and I can see the look in her eyes, the one that she gave me when she asked me about Rob and I going to New Jersey. Tyler looked at her and smile

"Of course, education can wait but an opportunity to travel with the one you love, while figuring it out what you wanted will be amazing. I just hope my money will be enough though" Tyler tried to kiss Alice but she dodged it, he pretended to get hurt but Alice just laugh.

I look at Missy and she gave the couple a weak smile, while she looked at Jayson who is busy on his food, his mouth is in thin line and his brows are furrowed, I don't know if Jayson really do agree on how they are going to end everything after summer.

Missy is been consisted about her going to Harvard, that she really worked her ass out to have good grades and she checked everything she needs to do in order for her to qualify to Harvard, and I know no one can stop her in fulfilling her dreams, even though she need to sacrifice other things like her relationship with Jayson.

Ash was right they can always worked things out, being in a long distance relationship is hard but I think it would work, if both of them are willing. I looked back at Missy and she is still looking at Jayson, I never saw them get into fights or what so I really do hope everything will work for them.

I thought about Rob and I and how are life would be if we are both in New Jersey, we never really talked about it, we are enjoying every moment here, that we are not thinking about the greater picture, or is it only I who is not thinking ahead?

I remembered about his applications, what if he got to Rutgers? There's a part of me really wanted him to teach there, the idea of him and I being in one school is so appealing, but then again we will be back on keeping everything hidden, we can't be like normal couples like my friends, even though I know our relationship is unusual, I still think we can be normal couple if he will not be my teacher so that leads me to the other part of me wanting him to be in any university aside from Rutgers, but when I think about the students there – students like Belle perhaps, it makes me overthink, college students are matured and have more experience than me, and the fact their ages is closer to Rob's age.
