"Well, she gets one. Why can't we?" posed Nibblenephim.

"Will we all get one, or will we have to share?" asked T'noy Karaxis.

"I'm not sharing anything with any of you." said Pokotho.

"Are there that many brats that would fit the bill?" asked Bliklotep.

"We could make them fit." said Wiggog Y'wrath.

"I don't think that's how Webby did it." laughed Bliklotep.

"Well, screw Webby!" remarked T'noy Karaxis.

The others nodded in agreement.

"I already know who I'm picking." said Nibblenephim.

"I'll need to think it over for a time..." said Pokotho.

The Princess in Black yawned as she woke up. There was a song stuck in their head. It was probably something Dad had written, but she was too sleepy to remember which one. She rolled out of bed and fell onto the plush, deep blue carpet. She forced herself into being fully awake and went to brush her hair. The Princess hummed to herself as she lazily brushed. 'Lah Dee Dah Dah Day', that was the song. All of Dad's songs were really good, but that one in particular always got stuck in her head. La dee dah dah, la dee dah dah, la dee dah dah day... The Princess almost didn't bother changing out of her pajamas, but she decided she might as well. She chose a dark blue hoodie, a baby blue shirt, jeans, and bright blue socks. It looked a lot like a form she had seen dad take on once. Alice, the daughter of Pokey, smiled and went to walk downstairs.

The Princeps in Black jolted awake. They had been having the most vivid dream, but they struggled to remember it now. Something about birds. They considered trying to go back to sleep, but they were probably too awake now. Oh, well. They got out of bed and took a moment to marvel at just how cool their room was. From the canopy bed's silky purple drapes to the super aesthetic Polaroid picture display, there was just so much stuff to look at. The pictures were all of Poppa's amusement park, which he promised to take them to one day. They tore their eyes from all of their decor to change out of their pajamas. They picked out a purple tie dye shirt, lavender jeans, and dark purple socks. The Princeps liked the look of this. That much of this same color might seem tacky to some, but they had lived their whole life among color-coded motifs. Plus, purple is a pretty versatile color. Ziggs, the child of Blinky, made their way downstairs.

The Prince in Black drifted awake, slowly but not unwillingly. He knew he could stay in bed as long as he wanted. Even if he did have something to do, time is relative. It was especially relative for him and Pops. He could have let himself drift in and out of sleep, but he decided against it. The Prince gave his teddy bear one last squeeze before rising. He slipped out of bed and walked over to his massive walk-in closet. It was filled with rows and rows of clothing, all in yellow, of course, but just the style he liked. Pops might not really understand his taste in clothes, but he supported it nonetheless. He made his selection: orange socks, bright yellow slacks, a matching yellow sweater, and a bright orange bowtie. Nice and classy. He smiled at his reflection in the mirror, content with his choices. Pete, the son of Tinky, left his room and went to get ready for breakfast.

The Prince in Black woke up, far too cozy to move. The blankets were so big and comfy, and he was so small. But Papa had left him a plate of cookies on the side table, and they looked so tasty. Maybe if he stretched really far, he could reach the cookies without getting up. He could not. He squirmed his way forward, grabbed a cookie, and ate it in bed. It was delicious! Soft, chewy, and oh so sweet. Crumbs fell into the sheets, and the Prince ate them, too. Uncle Pokey said that it was excessive to eat every last bit, but the Prince saw no reason not to. It tasted too good to waste! Eventually, he dragged himself out of bed and got dressed. He changed into a soft pink button-up shirt, dark pink slacks, and hot pink knee-length socks. River, the son of Nibbly, then skipped off to have breakfast.

The Princess in Black woke gently from her sleep. She sat up, yawned, and stretched. She pulled off the thick, green blankets and went to change out of her pajamas. She decided on pale green stockings, a lime green, sparkly dress with a skirt that went down to her knees, and a dark green bow that she pinned in her hair. Before she went down to the dining room, she made her bed and checked her reflection in the mirror. Father said that her tentacles would grow in one day, but she was starting to worry they weren't going to. Her cousins were doing just fine with their powers and features, but so far, nothing had kicked in for her. Even little River had teeth far sharper than they should be. Then again, the Princess's only frame of reference for what teeth should look like was herself and her other cousins. She sighed and left her bedroom. Grace, the daughter of Wiggly, descended the stairs.
