Chapter 16: Fixing shit

Ares pov

Damnit why do I fuck up every time. She asked me what would I  do when it came to Kylie, and I froze as I did not think anything through. I let my emotions take the best of me. I so badly wanted to tell Rhe that I don't love Kylie, but something stopped me as I was hurting two beautiful women, the girl I once loved and the girl that I'm falling for. Sometimes, I wonder what happened if I never met Rhea again. Would I and Kylie still be in a happy relationship?

I step into the shower, letting the water pour down my body, and imagine Rhea in the shower with me her breasts against my chest as water runs on us. I then put the shower on the coldest as I'm getting hard. Once I'm done in the shower, I get dressed and pour myself some gin and tonic. I then complete a few paperwork, and my mind drifts to Rhe as she probably is hurt again by me.

I message her saying I'm sorry, which she replies, saying it's okay, and I now know she is not okay as knowing Rhea she tends to hide her emotions quite well. Rhea is the type of person who forgives too quickly, and I can say this I am proof of it as she forgave me. Rhea does not like to hold grudges, she once told me it's easy to forgive someone, but it's hard to hate someone and hold grudges for long.  For me it's quite the opposite.

I'm now thinking of a way to make it up to her as I must have hurt her to a point where she might have started to hate herself because of me. I then hop into my car and drive around, going to shops where it's open as it's almost midnight. I go into a gift shop and look around, knowing Rhea she is not a gift person as she likes memorable things.

I spot a massive panda, probably the size of a human. My mind then drifts to when we were younger as I have gotten her a small panda.

Flashback (14 years ago)

My dad honestly sucks he dragged me to a baseball game ugh I have better things to do but he emotionally blackmailed me saying all his other friend's sons will be here I met a few of them and I can say they all dog shit plus my dad said he will give me some money if I go with him.

I then ask my dad if I can go buy a few things as there is a mini market by he then gives me some money as I pass a few stalls I spot a toy stall a new water gun will do as maybe Rhea and I will need them for our missions. As I'm looking at the guns, I see a cute panda, and I smile as Rhea loves pandas. I always catch her watching panda documentaries on TV

Water guns can wait if it means putting a smile on Rhea's face,  I would sell my soul for it. I then ask the seller to put it into a baby blue gift bag. I also buy her some gummy bears as she loves those sweet things. The owner says I'm cute like no, duh, I am just thirteen years old. Once the game is done, we drive home. I can't wait to see Rhea's reaction once she sees my gift for her.

We finally home, and I start running inside just to bump into my sister.

''Hey, is Rhea here?'' I ask, wondering where she is

''She was here a minute ago she just disappeared also what's in that bag bro?'' Layla asks, being nosy as she tries to peep in the bag.

I roll my eyes, ''For my eyes only,'' I say, and I run on.

"Hey mom, have you seen Rhea anywhere?'' I ask as I can't seem to find her anywhere.

''Kiddo, she is by the tree house, " my mom says as she takes a batch of cookies outside of the oven.

I then ran to the tree house to see Rhea painting flowers, and I smiled. She then notices me and gives me that pretty smile of hers, "What took you so long A?" she asks me, giving me her angry, cute look.

"Sorry Rhe, my dad was being a pain in the butt," I say.

She then says, "It's okay, you here now."
