"Don't get me wet Andy," I screeched as he dragged me from my seat by the pool.
I had been enjoying suntanning with Linda and Andy had the wild idea to pull me to the pool.
"Come in with me please," he commented.
Linda was laughing.
"I was enjoying talking to Linda," I told him as we were near the edge of the pool.
"You can do that after a quick dip. You've been sitting there for over an hour," Andy told me.
"I know that," I told him as I looked down at the pool.
Please?" he asked.
I got devious and since he wasn't holding me by my hands, I pushed him gently into the pool.
"W-woah," Andy remarked as he landed.
I sort of backed up and sprinted and jumped into the pool.
"Go (Y/N)!" Linda commented as I surfaced to the top of the water.
"You are so mean," Andy commented as he laughed.
"Am I? Cause I'm in the pool with you," I told him.
"That's true," Andy remarked as Barry and Mo came outside.
"I see you 3 are taking advantage of the nice weather," Barry commented as he went to sit with Linda.
"Yeah, we are. (Y//N)'s going to see how bad a Miami monsoon is probably starting tomorrow," Andy commented.
"Nothing different than what I've sometimes experienced I'm sure?" I questioned as I redid my ponytail.
"Well yes and no. It's worse than Califorina darling," Andy told me.
"It is worse," Mo commented.
"Did you guys finish that business call?" Linda asked Barry.
"Yeah, we did. The albums going to go into production for vinyl, CD and cassette and stuff soon," Barry explained.
"And the album comes out when?" I asked curiously.
"September. You and Andy are invited to the launch if you guys are back from Croatia by then," Maurice explained.
"Oh that sounds lovely," I replied as walked to get out of the pool.
"Where are you going?" Andy asked.
"I just don't like being in the water that long," I remarked.
"Andy said you bought tickets for the Croatia sailing tour?" Linda asked as I joined them back on the poolside chairs.
"Yes it's for 4 or 5 days in September and then we get to spend 2 days in Greece with our friend Violet," I told them as I wrapped the towel around me.
The clouds were sort of rolling in.
"Violet's the one who was in rehab right with Andy?" Barry asked.
"Yep, she is. She's currently living in Amsterdam studying abroad for her college classes," I told them as I suddenly realized tomorrow was mine and Andy's official one year together.
I looked at the pool and he was just enjoying floating around on one of those water raft things.
"She sounds like she made a full circle moment," Maurice commented.
"Yeah, she did. I honestly thought she was gonna die for a while after her last trip to the hospital but I am so grateful she realized she needed help. Things have turned around for her," I commented.
"We know what you mean," Linda gestured to Andy.
I looked down at the ground.
"You've been a big part of his success the last year particularly. Thank you for taking care of him even with his problems," Barry commented quietly.
I smiled and looked back at Andy who was just still floating like a leaf across the pool.
"It's hard to believe we've been together for a year officially tomorrow," I told them.
"It's been his best year," Mo commented.
Andy noticed us staring.
"What are you all looking at?" he asked as he floated towards the side of the pool we were at.
"You," I commented.
He chuckled.
"I know but why are you staring?" he asked.
"No particular reason Andy," Barry commented.
"Okay then," Andy remarked chuckling as he popped off the floaty and got out of the pool.
"I think we better think about heading in," Mo commented as he pointed to the overcast clouds.
"It's just clouds," I remarked as Andy grabbed a towel off the chair.
They all shook their heads.
"It is not just clouds. I think we're gonna get an unexpected rain shower," Linda remarked.
"Oh?" I asked.
"Yeah let's go in and get refreshed," Linda commented as we all shuffled inside.
"So how's it going?" Andy asked as we walked upstairs.
"It's going good. I enjoy talking to your family," I commented as we entered our room.
"You looked really comfortable hanging out with them. I'm glad we were able to do this trip," Andy remarked as we looked for a dry set of clothes to put on.
"It's like I fit right in. Speaking of which, I cannot believe tomorrow is our actual anniversary," I remarked as I put my hair in a towel.
"I know darling. It's crazy how the last year went like bam," he remarked as he snapped his fingers.
"Right it feels like we've been together only a few days yet at the same time, a thousand days," I told him.
"I like that, well the way you said it," he commented as he disappeared to change in the bathroom.
Only a few more days of Miami calling.
