"Oh my god stop it Andy," I remarked as he kept kissing my face after we had woken up.

"I'm sorry," he would remark after a few seconds.

We had to get up and be ready for the brunch at Grandma M's in 3 hours. I didn't know how long it would take for us to get our butt in gear after having a late night.

"Are you?" I remarked chuckling as I tried to get out of his embrace.

"No," he commented after a second.

I wiggled out of the warmth of the bed and made a dash to the kitchen.

"Darling," he called after me.

"Yes?" I asked him.

"What time do we have to be at Grandma Mary's?" he asked.

"At 11 I think. And we don't have to bring anything," I told him as I went straight for the coffee pot.

Andy was now standing behind me.

"Okay good. So we got like 4 hours till we need to be out of the house," he told me.

"Yes. Oh shoot I should get your laundry going," I remarked as I finished stirring our coffee.

"That's not a worry darling," he told me.

"To me, it is," I commented as I took a sip of coffee and then went to the living room to where his suitcase was.

"Darling you can't mother me. That's not your job," he told me.

"I'm not trying to be a mother. That's Barbara's job. I just like helping out where I can," I told him as I unzipped the luggage.

"You are too good to me and I never know how to repay you," he remarked quietly as I took out the stuff he had worn over the last week and walked to the laundry room.

"I love you and I like doing these things. I don't expect things paid back in return," I told him as he was standing in the doorway.

He smiled at me.

"I love you," he told me.

"I love you most," I remarked as I kissed his cheek.

"What was that for?" he asked chuckling.

"Ehm," I remarked looking up at the doorway.

He totally forgot that he hung mistletoe in every doorway.

"Oh," he remarked chuckling.

"Yeah honey," I told him as I kissed him again.

Andy began melting in my touch before we could even leave the doorway of the laundry room.

"No wonder you were wondering how long we had before going to the brunch," I teased him back as I walked to the kitchen.

"Well," he remarked as he followed me.

"You missed me that's fine. It makes me feel good," I told him as I grabbed my coffee cup.

He smiled at me.

"I love you how could I not miss you?" he remarked as he joined me in getting his coffee cup too.

I was totally in love. Everyone could see it. I was so happy and for the first time really enjoying being in a relationship. It wasn't just give give give. It was equal and I was glowing. I wasn't depressed and angry. I was myself while also learning how to love someone else.

"You know I love you too. Probably with my entire being," I admitted as we walked back to the bedroom to drink our coffee.

Andy didn't reply until we got settled into bed again.

"You know.  I was scared to give myself to someone again and yet you changed everything for the better. And the entire world sees it. I believe in myself again and I get to share this newfound life with you," he confessed.

I looked down into my cup. I wasn't sure what to say. He was whipped and so was I.

"I-I literally don't know what to say," I told him as he continued staring at me.

"You don't have to say anything darling," he reassured me.

To think, last Christmas I was just Andy's acquaintance. I was his Secret Santa and I got to be the person giving him love and making sure he doesn't fall off the track again.

"We better get this coffee in us and start thinking about getting ready," I told him.

"Fineeeee," he complained.

A Saturday I'll never forget.
