In less than a month Kousu, Sai and Rue Xuan had developed an unbreakable friendship. They came to each other's houses and played all day and got into trouble together. Most especially it was nice to see Sai open up but now the group had come up with a group name that was somewhat terrifying.

" The terror trio," Kousu said while petting Gao Xing.

Li Huawei stared at Kousu. Wondering why the name sounded more of a troublesome name for kids. " Why that name?"

Huang Ning interfered " Because he is bad at naming things!"

" No I am not.. A–Ning is a bully."

Today was just like any other regular day but what made it different was that Huang Ning had come over to visit. Huang Ning hardly ever came over because of the opening of his new gang. He needed to set rules, design a gang uniform and do other things. But now that everything was completed Huang Ning could finally take a break.

Huang Ning lay on the sofa with his phone in hand and his eyes indirectly staring at the ceiling.He still had a few things to do about his gang so he made sure to check his phone at all times.

The terror trio had gone to the backyard to play, leaving Huang Ning and Li Huawei alone.

Once the boys noticed they were gone they changed their tones and became more serious.

Huang Ning sat up and dropped his phone on the table in front of him. His eyes had a sudden look of depression inside and his face turned bloomy.

Li Huawei sighed but finally spoke. " Your father was killed."

Huang Ning turned over to Li Huawei. " The horn gang. They assassinated him... I didn't think it was possible but they really killed him."

Huang Ning hid his teary face. The day before his father Wei Gao was found dead in his office. From what the police had found he was assassinated. There was no information regarding who would have assassinated him but Huang Ning already knew who did.

Li Huawei continued. " What about Kousu's father is he on alert."

Huang Ning," Ya.. He is trying his best to protect us but I am sure he knows that he is going to be the next victim. Afterall My father is his best friend. So the horn gang must be trying to attack the Huang family's men."

Li Huawei, " Will they attack Kousu."

Huang Ning, " They won't. Kousu has nothing to do with Rui Weiguo but I don't think Rui WeiGuo is the one asking for the assassinations.. I feel like it's someone from the gang."

Li Huawei," What are you planning to do... your father is dead and."

Huang Ning interrupted. " The man never cared about me. I was just born out of wedlock.... It's enough of a shame that I am the son of a rapist.. I don't want to ever carry the name Wei. The name alone is cursed."

Everything Huang Ning had said was true. He was not the son of Huang HaoYu but he was the son of his wife Jiang Jingyi. Huang Ning was born out of wedlock, he was a child of rape.

His father Wei Gao was Huang Haoyu's best friend and closest mate. But because of greed, Wei Gao raped Huang Haoyu's wife Jiang Jingyi; but he never planned to have Huang Ning. When Huang Haoyu found out about it he was furious, he wanted to kill Wei Gao but because his wife had a son. He hid his rage and decided to have the child. When Huang Ning was born his mother hated him and despised him but even with the hate Jiang Jingyi showed to Huang Ning, Huang Haoyu was the opposite he treated Huang Ning like his own son and acted like the father Wei Gao refused to be. However Wei Gao still treated Huang Ning as his son and showered him with gifts and money but never showered him with love. Due to that Huang Ning only despised his biological father.

But even with the amount of hatred Wei Gao had towards his father he still felt bitter on hearing his father's death.

Li Huawei turned over to Huang Ning. " Even if we can't defeat the Horn Gang we still need to protect Kousu, the horn gang wouldn't go easy on any of you no matter your age... The Horn Gang Killed our father..That's why Sai doesn't talk much. The poor kid witnessed his own father's death before his own eyes. Since then he has been mute."

Huang Ning stared at Sai from the window.

Huang Ning, " I know Huang Haoyu. The guy is tougher than my father... And I am sure his kid over there will grow up to be just like him. Afterall he already has his father's looks and personality. All that is remaining is for him to become of age and deal with his fathers enemies."

None of this made Li Huawei feel even the slightest peace." I don't want any child to witness the same thing Sai has been through... It's not only Kousu who needs to survive. Huang Haoyu also needs to.. If a child loses a parent it's like half of him has been torn apart. No matter how hard you try to repair that part it will always be open... Kousu is only five years old. He doesn't know what the world is about and it's our job to make sure he doesn't witness the bad side of the world. Until he is off age.. Huang Ning, don't let Huang Haoyu die."

Huang Ning was unable to speak. He was in a total dilemma wondering if he was truly human. His father was dead but yet he didn't feel a single part of him fall apart but from hearing Sai's experience Huang Ning wondered whether he should go back and refresh his thoughts and find a suitable way to deal with this problem that was rushing towards them like a high speed train.
