Nothing really changed about school. Everything seemed to be normal and Sai hadn't even tried to talk to Kousu. But kousu was fine with it.

Although Kousu tried to tell his friends he was fine they didn't let him be. Afterall his arms were covered with thick bandages. Jing Hua and Renxing kept on asking what had happened to Kousu but all Kousu did was to say he was fine. Jie Jie who knew what had happened would avoid having eye contact with Jing Hua and Renxing to prevent him from spilling the beans.

They all decided to go to the cafeteria since it was already the mid–Autumn festival.

In their school on special events or festivals the cafeteria would be filled with delicious cuisines and desserts. But the only disadvantage was; during these periods the cafeteria was always full and crowded.

Although there were still many disadvantages, Renxing, Jing Hua and Jie Jie really wanted to have a taste of the mooncakes and because of this Kousu was forced to join in.

Apart from Kousu just standing in the corner and watching the students fight for food. He noticed a few girls whispering as they walked past him. The boys didn't whisper or act strange towards him but it was mostly the girls. 'What are they up to?'

After Jing Hua had managed to get mooncakes for all of them they left the cafeteria and went over to their class. They sat down on their chairs as they gasped for breath.

Kousu stared at the mooncakes. What was so special about them? They looked really normal to him. Jing Hua and Renxing opened the box where the mooncakes were in and began to share it. Kousu didn't want much but seeing the way Jing Hua, Renxing and Jie Jie were willing to risk their lives to taste the mooncakes. He decided to give it a try.

They were unique and delicious. The sweet taste of red lotus paste and the chewy goodness filled in the cake made Kousu want more. But he stopped himself.

Whereas Jing Hua, Jie Jie and Renxing munched on the mooncakes like they had never eaten before it was a funny sight to watch and it almost made Kousu chuckle.

Suddenly the door opened. At first no one was interested in seeing who it was but when they heard the person's voice they all turned around.

Dan Hua checked around every part of the class, he wasn't interested in saying hi to his former classmates rather he was more interested in showing Kousu his surprise.

Behind him were two badly beaten men. From their looks Kousu could tell they were taken down by Dan Hua. This was why Kousu never let Dan Hua give people punishments.

Although Dan Hua looked weak and always smiled he was the opposite of his face. Deep down inside Dan Hua was a psychopath, he was powerful and strong. Without a doubt he was also heartless but not ruthless. He was the perfect form of an assassin, not like Kousu who still showed care towards others.

Everyone in the class was shocked by this, they hadn't seen Dan Hua since his arrest for murder and now seeing him again gave them shivers in their bones.

Kousu sighed, he was just hoping for a peaceful day of talking about BL with Jing Hua but seeing Dan Hua here he could tell luck wasn't on his side.

When Dan Hua finally saw Kousu his smile grew, he turned over to the men and glared at them, before returning his gaze to Kousu. " Xing Xing you seem to have made new friends that's nice"

The rest of the class averted their gazes to Kousu. Afterall no one in their class was called Xing except for Kousu. And so they guessed it was Kousu Dan Hua was referring too.

Renxing and Jing Hua glanced at Kousu. They were waiting for some kind of explanation on why Kousu would hang out with a murderer like Dan Hua. But Kousu ignored their gazes and forced a smile. " Who are the friends behind you?"

Once Dan Hua heard Kousu's question he was reassured that Kousu wasn't mad about his sudden intervention. He immediately smirked and turned over to the men he dragged their hair and threw them flat on the ground. The class was shocked by it. They had never seen men this badly beaten before. The men's eyes were swollen, their legs and arms broken and half of their teeth removed. Whatever hit these men must have been some kind of bat because a human could not have caused so much damage.

Dan Hua continued with a smirk still on. " These men are horn gang dogs. I found them in our territory and I thought I would give Kai Chu a little surprise." Dan Hua stopped and stared at his former classmates. " Also.. So every member of the Horn Gang knows that! Their doom is coming and it's getting closer as the handle on the clock ticks!"

The students in the class could feel fear shake them off their limbs. This fear wasn't from seeing those badly beaten men but from seeing a murderer whose smile was so deceiving.

Kousu stood up from his chair although he was sad he didn't get a chance to talk to his friends. He was more excited to go deal with some Horn Gang members. But as he was about to go he felt someones hold on to him. When he turned he saw that the hand belonged to Jing Hua. Jing Hua had a worried look on. She was afraid Kousu was going to get in some kind of trouble and she believed in her guts and instincts.

Kousu smiled. Although Jing Hua was really crazy and troublesome, she was just a really caring kid and sometimes Kousu could see Mei Lian in her. Kousu patted Jing Hua's hair and reassured her. " Trust me. If anything happens along the way. I wouldn't die that easily."

Jing Hua unwillingly let go...
