Assassination 3.

The ball was crowded with a lot of people, Kousu stood at the side of the drink table with the girl from earlier next to him. The girl hadn't said anything yet, she was too shy to speak to the well coated, modest young man infront of her.

Modest my foot!

Finally the lady spoke up. " My name is Yin Yin. "

Kousu didn't bother answering, telling his name to this complete stranger wasn't going to change the fact that she would be dead in less than a few minutes. " My name is Kousu."

The lady blushed heavily, she couldn't control her emotions while Kousu just wanted to go home already.

The people in the ball had already drank the drinks and now the only person who hadn't drank was the young lady next to Kousu.

Kousu picked up a glass of wine from one of the tables and handed it to Yin Yin. Yin Yin blushed at the sight but she immediately took the drink.

" Cheers."

Yin Yin blushed " Cheers "

They both drank the drink but since Kousu was used to getting poisoned the drink didn't have much of an effect on him but Yin Yin was already down on her feet, the glass in her hand spilled to the ground and she lay down crying out as the pain was unbearable.

The people around rushed over to check on Yin Yin. During that time Kousu discovered it was only five minutes until twelve.

Tun Sheng's men and Kousu's men took the chance and walked into the ball and since their outfits made them look like they were members of the highclass union, no one suspected them to be armed men.

They all glanced at Kousu waiting for some kind of sign language but Kousu only sipped on his tea. Indirectly telling them it wasn't time yet.

Soon Yin Yin spat out black blood from her qiqiao and soon her eyes had gone pale. Her mother who was with her screamed and yelled. " Yin Yin! Yin Yin wake up. "

But the young girl was already dead, her body wasn't strong enough to handle such poison. Actually the poison wasn't supposed to kill it was supposed to only harm the victim but now Kousu could tell Yin Yin must have had some kind of sickness.

Which meant her mother wanted to get her married and send Yin Yin out of her house immediately. Kousu smirked and thought, What a nice way to deceive. Some people are just foolish.

The woman turned over to Kousu and yelled at him. " What are you doing just standing there!.. You can see Yin Yin is dying here but all you do is sip on your drink. Wait, are you the one who poisoned my Yin Yin!"

Everyone's eyes were on Kousu and Kousu hated the attention. When Uncle Meng saw this he walked over to Kousu about to support Kousu but Kousu spoke before he could.

" I should be asking you the same question. The drink I gave Yin Yin was also from the table, and everyone drank the drink but no one seems to have died and also I have never met you before so why would I want to kill your daughter."

The woman wanted to shout and blame Kousu but then she realized she had nothing to say.

" Given me the silent treatment. Well what kind i say...Be careful next time."

Once the men from Tun Sheng and Kousu heard this they knew it was their time to attack. The sign they had been waiting for wasn't a sign but instead it was for Kousu to say' Be careful next time."

Kousu walked out of the room with false rage in his eyes in order to make the members in the party fall for his trickery. He needed to get changed and kill his uncle and since he was no longer in the party he could do that.

He walked out of the gate of the ball and like he expected Dan Hua was there. Dan Hua was seated on the motorcycle, his face had a smile on as usual, even in the most deadly moments Dan Hua freely smiled and that was what Kousu liked about him.

They got on the bike and went over to one of their stations close to the area. Since Kousu was familiar with the place he went over to a small room and began undressing as he changed his clothes to his normal outfit he wore as Soul Catcher.

He wore a hooded short robe, a tight trouser and a black cropped top. He hadn't worn his Soul Catcher frown mask yet. He stared at it for a while before he wore it on and came out.

Dan Hua was seated waiting for him and when he saw Kousu he smiled. " Don't those trousers itch?"

Kousu wasn't mad about the question but the trousers did indeed itch. It was just something he found pretty flexible and he could also move freely with it. He responded. " Whatchu think!"

Dan Hua smirked. " Pretty tight I guess."

After a few glances Kousu spoke again. " They should have dealt with the unimportant people. We should get there and deal with Uncle Meng."

" It's pretty surprising. I didn't think you were against your uncle from the very beginning. You guys seemed close, it was really hard to notice your hatred towards him. But why did he want to kill your father?"

Kousu was unwilling to answer questions that involved his family but since he trusted Dan Hua he was sure he was talking to the right person. He spoke in a calm tone. " My father was really lucky. He was the only child of his parents Li Bangzhu and Li Mengyao. From birth he was already named the heir of the Huang Family, he wasn't planned to be born because his mother was unable to bear a child but after many tests and meeting with doctors his mother finally gave birth to him. However when the relatives of Li Bangzhu heard about it they were devastated and wanted my father dead but with the men protecting my father it was impossible and they soon gave up. But my Uncle Meng Ling wasn't pleased at all with it and wanted my father dead. His greed took the best of him and when he saw his only chance to gain power was to work with the horn gang he did so. But soon after my father's death he was hunted with the realization of what he had done..."
