Baby Shoes.

Huang Ning stared at his brother's unconscious body. He had sighed so much that now he was unsure of whether he could sigh anymore. Dang Yingwu had brought Kousu back in a deadly state and even with Huang Ning's continuous questioning Dang Yingwu refused to tell Huang Ning what had happened to Kousu.

Nevertheless Huang Ning was used to surprises like this. There were even worse case scenarios than this. There were a few times when Kousu would come back home beaten and battered and sometimes even at the bridge of death.

But Huang Ning stopped bothering himself about things like this long ago. As long as Kousu still existed his worries would not end.

Huang Ning sat up straight and stared at Dang Yingwu, he asked again. " You are sure Kousu was just poisoned and it didn't have to do with gangs?"

Dang Yingwu nodded and said with fright. " Yes. Kousu–Xiong was poisoned and..and.."

Dang Yingwu couldn't think of another lie. He was terrified by Huang Ning not by his looks but by who he was.

Huang Ning was the head of the Black Phoenix, a kind but powerful leader. Huang Ning's gang was ranked the second most powerful and now Dang Yingwu had to speak to such a powerful figure.

As Dang Yingwu was about to speak Dan Hua interrupted. " Kousu was poisoned, that's all we know."

Behind Dan Hua was Mei Xuan. When Mei Xuan saw Huang Ning with his glasses, he blushed a little but coughed his way out of it. " So Kousu has gotten into trouble again. The kid never learns."

Huang Ning noticed Mei Xuan's behavior and immediately removed the glasses. " I don't know what you kids are up to. But if anything happens to Kousu. Both of you will pay the price." Huang Ning pointed his finger at them.

Soon Kousu squinted his eyes open but when he saw the light he protested. " Someone put of the shitty..light."

When Huang Ning heard this he clapped his hands and the light went off.

Dan Hua and Dang Yingwu were shocked by it. At first they thought it was magic, but they composed themselves and hid their surprise.

Kousu slowly sat up and turned over to his friends and then to his brother. Who was waiting for an answer.

Kousu sighed. If there was something he hated , it was his brother's inquisitiveness. " I was poisoned."

Now that Huang Ning had heard Kousu say the same thing he decided to take him being poisoned as the answer.

Dang Yingwu and Dan Hua were happy to see Kousu was okay but they were also surprised about their boss's quick recovery. But in reality everything their boss did was strange.

" Kousu, did you hear the news? Uncle Meng is dead."

Hearing this Kousu acted surprised. But he was truly surprised he didn't expect the news of his uncle's death to already be on the headlines.

Dan Hua, " It's already morning."

When Kousu heard this Kousu finally understood things.

He had slept all night.

He picked up his phone and checked the time and it was truly morning.

" So Uncle Meng is dead."

Huang Ning nodded. He didn't know that Kousu and Uncle Meng had been working together.

However although Kousu acted surprised by his uncle's death he wasn't really surprised and soon after he was back outside buying food and enjoying all the chinese cuisines, Dan Hua was still behind him following his boss's every move.

Kousu picked up a candied fruit and began chewing on it. He said. " Dan Hua, aren't you gonna have some? They are delicious."

Dan Hua wasn't willing to try one. He liked sweets but not too much like Kousu.

As they were walking they noticed a large billboard and when Kousu saw it he drawed Dan Hua's attention to it. " Dan Hua! Dan Hua!"

Dan Hua," Ya!"

Kousu said," My sister is having a meeting at that building right there. That is the new Akkun Magazines branch. It's where my sister will be working after she gives birth. "

Dan Hua stared at the big company. " Isn't the company's opening celebration today?"

Kousu nodded." Yes. That's why we need to get there as fast as possible...But!"

Dan Hua wondered," But what."

Kousu got closer to Dan Hua," We still need to buy more stuff!"

" Seriously"

" Don't be so lazy. It's just a few things."

Dan Hua was tired of being Kousu's shopping trolly. Although Kousu was crazy, his craziness when it came to buying stuff was out of hand. Dan Hua could understand why Kousu was wasteful, he was the son of the richest woman in china. But he was just too wasteful.

As Dan Hua and Kousu were still walking around, Kousu suddenly stopped at a shop. Dan Hua wondered why but he went ahead to see what was inside the shop.

To his surprise the shop sold baby clothes and accessories.

Kousu turned over to Dan Hua and gave him the puppy eyes. " Just one more."

Dan Hua sighed. " Just one more."

Hearing this Kousu rushed into the shop and went to check the baby things. The shop owner immediately walked over to Kousu.

" What do you want to buy?"

Kousu took a look at the baby shoes for a while before he answered. " Baby stuff.."

The woman smiled. " Is it for your son or daughter?"

Kousu was surprised by the question. " No!"

The woman said, " So this young man isn't your husband."

" Hey, I am a male!"

The woman was astonished, she didn't think Kousu was a male. " Oh my. I do apologize young master. Your long hair deceived me, and I thought the young man holding your bag was your husband. "

" No he is not. I already have someone I like..." Suddenly Kousu stopped speaking and his face became bloomy.

He was about to say he already liked someone but the person he liked didn't feel the same way about him.

When the woman saw this she walked over to Kousu and held his hand. As she said." Young Master, don't worry. Sometimes in relationships partners have arguments, I am sure the person you like likes you back. "

Kousu smiled. He wished things were truly like that.
