The next morning, the sounds of items crashing against the wall woke Kalani up out of her sleep. In a state of panic, Kalani threw the duvet cover off of her and rushed to the door. And to her surprise— or not— everybody had woken up to discover that the noise was coming from Stella's room. "Is everything ok, Stella?" Bloom asked as she knocked on the door.

It took a second for Stella to open the door, but when she did— she looked miserable and exhausted. She let out a weird laugh before saying something, "Oh, hi. What's up?" Something about her was off, that much was easy to see— maybe something went wrong with her date. "What's up with all that noise? It's six in the morning." Kalani inquired as she rubbed her eyes.

"Uh, bag fell down. Everything's alright, go back to sleep." But the tone of Stella's voice told them that she wasn't asking— she was demanding it. "There's no point now, the alarms about to go off in a couple minutes anyways." Bloom muttered as she eyed Flora from her peripheral.

"What time did you get in last night? We didn't hear you come in." It was a good question, because Stella left their dorm around eight o'clock, and they hadn't gone to bed until almost eleven at night. So then Stella must've got in after midnight— not that she would ever admit that.

"It was late, and I didn't want to wake you up." Was all she said before attempting to close the door, but Bloom asking a question stopped her from doing so. "So, how did it go? Come on, we all want the details." But Stella only grew irritated at the constant badgering. "Oh, but there's nothing to tell."

But Bloom saw right through her. "You really want us to believe that? Come on." She was persistent in attempting to learn about Stella's date. But Stella had had just about enough of everybody. "I said nothing happened, ok?! So go mind your own business." She snapped before slamming the doors in their faces.

"Well, that could've gone much better." Kalani muttered as she stared at the double doors. "I know. Who does she think she is?" Musa added before turning back around and sauntering back to her shared room. "She'll get over it eventually." Bloom said, but Kalani knew better. "No, she won't. She was head over heels for that boy."

The first class of the day was Metamorphosymbiosis with Wizgiz. And the objective of the day was to change their heads into pumpkins— which everyone had succeeded in. "Ok, all together one more time. A deep breath and repeat after me: vanish pumpkin." The class followed his instructions and almost everyone's heads returned, all but one girl who sat in the front row.

"Professor Wizgiz, it didn't work!" She shouted as she grabbed at her head in a panic. But Wizgiz on the other was calm and collected. After all, he was a teacher and had likely seen this many times before. "This is what happens when you don't concentrate enough."

"Do something! Please Professor! " She pleaded. Wizgiz dug down deep in his pocket and pulled out a small white mouse. He dangled it in front of him, causing the mouse to run in place and in her direction. She shouted and scrambled to get up out of her seat when the pumpkin disappeared, revealing brown hair and a teenage girl full of relief.

"In a case like this, a good scare is the best cure. Thank you, Phil." He and the professor finished exchanging pleasantries before the mouse dove back down into his pocket. The bell rung short after that strange encounter. "Alright class. I'll see you tomorrow on our first class about entosymbiosis. The art of insect transformation." The class groaned and a few even gagged at the possibility of them having to deal with insects.

Following the announcement, the girls were released. And the Winx had a lot to talk about. "Did you notice? Our little princess didn't even bother coming to class." Musa criticized as they walked down the hall. "I don't know what's gotten into her." Flora said as she looked down at the floor glumly.
