Of course, the Trix weren't just gonna let the Winx along with the specialists just take their hostages back to Alfea, which resulted in a battle of magic and wits. And with the help of the witches of Cloud Tower along with Headmistress Griffin, the Trix were forced back into hiding.
But they decided that they were taking someone else down with them.
In order for the others to escape, Bloom and Sky decided to work together to keep the monsters at bay, but once they were finally far enough from Cloud Tower, it became apparent that the two were missing.
Now regrouped back at Alfea, the Winx, specialists and the professors stood in the courtyard as Stella tried her best to explain what had happened.
"They were trying to hold the monsters back so that we could all get away, but we haven't seen them since." She sighed, holding back tears in front of her friends who were all shocked with her sudden disappearance.
Isadora embraced the blonde in a tight hug, silently letting her know that it was ok, even if it wasn't.
Suddenly, a look of realization dawned upon Tecna and she found herself gripping Isadora's arm in elation. "Sorry to ruin the mood but I looked up a few things about Ivory Dragons to see if there was anything I can do to try and make the hatching easier."
"And I managed to find a few facts about them. Like how with the right conditions, the egg can hatch in as little as three weeks! They tend to grow at an accelerated rate, meaning that they can reach the size of a fully grown dragon in under two years and still continue to grow!"
Tecna prattled off information with a joyous gleam in her eyes, and Isadora found that to be rather comforting while in the midst of chaos.
But just when the girls were beginning to get comfortable, a shrill cry came from above. Hundreds— if not thousands of creatures from the Trix's Army of Darkness flew down from the clouds, setting their sights on Alfea Castle.
Fairies that were littered about campus quickly banded together to try and fight against the creatures, prompting the other girls to jump in and transform while Isadora simply summoned her scepter and took a defensive stance.
Stella swung her scepter up and down, teleporting the girls from the creature just as his huge fists came crashing down onto the ground, trying to squash them like bugs.
Afterwards, Isadora quickly got to work on calling out one of the spells that she remembered seeing back on Metis. "Cherubic Thunder!"
From the clouds of darkness came ten bolts of powerfully white lightning. The bolts managed to strike ten creatures, dissolving them into the disgusting worms that they were earlier.
Flora was next and created a thick rope made of vines that wrapped themselves tightly around a monster, keeping it bound and unable to move on its backside.
Tecna and Musa fired off a strong blast of magic, successfully destroying any monsters that were left.
But their efforts weren't enough. Because the creatures were made of worms, they were able to come together once again as if nothing had ever happened in the first place, much to the Winx's dismay.

The fairies continued to fight against the three witches Army of Darkness with the assistance of the specialists of Red Fountain and the witches of Cloud Tower. But due to the monsters' ability to regroup as one as soon as they were cut down, it wasn't easy.
Isadora stood back-to-back with her brother, who held a sphere of magic in one hand and his scepter in the other while Isadora held her own scepter with a firm grip. "Knock 'em out or kill them. There's not an in between."
