The girls made their way over to Magix in order to continue their hunt for Stella. "So, you think Stella is here somewhere?" Tecna asked as they walked up the sidewalk. "I think Stella could be anywhere at this point." She responded, baffling her friends. "Then why are we starting with the city of all places?" Kalani asked, staring at the redhead with an unreadable expression.
"Because of the Black Lagoon, remember? That's where she was supposed to go last night. Maybe they'll be able to help us there." Tecna summoned a green screen on her wrist. "Using my search program, we'll be able to find it in a flash. A quick scan of the sonic map. And... voila!"
Whatever she found on her arm band was sent to her hand and popped up using a bit of magic. "Strange. No sign of the Black Lagoon." Tecna was at a lost. "Now let's try my search program." Bloom jested. Although the joke managed to fly over Tecna's head. "You've got one too? How does it work?" She asked with a smile on her face.
Bloom took a few steps in front of the girls and stopped at a portly man. "Excuse me sir, I'm looking for the Black Lagoon." The man scratched his head and stared at the girl with a look of confusion. "Never heard of it." He walked away.
The girls busted into fits of laughter as Bloom turned her attention back to them. "See. You guys can use it too if you want. It's very easy to operate." Flora shrugged before walking off to follow Bloom's example. And the other girls quickly followed suit. But apparently, no one in the city had ever even heard of the Black Lagoon, let alone knew where it was.
And by the end of asking around, Flora, Tecna, Musa, Bloom and Kalani all wound up sitting on the curb. They were all feeling a bit down after getting nowhere with finding out what was wrong with Stella. And to make matters worse, the sun was beginning to set and after missing their curfew the first time they went out and nearly getting a detention from Griselda, they weren't trying to let that happen again.
"Nothing, this isn't good." Flora muttered as she stared at cars passing by. "If they wanted this to be a cool spot, they really should start advertising a little bit." Bloom added. "Yeah, nobody's heard of it. There's something fishy going on here." And after considering everything, Kalani was inclined to agree with her, especially after learning that Prince Sky didn't even write the letter that Stella boasted to the girls.
"Maybe we should go back to Alfea and warn Ms. Griselda." Tecna said, but Bloom shook her head, her fiery red hair following her movements. "You guys give up already?" She asked. "Listen, this kind of perseverance isn't always good, Bloom." But Bloom disagreed. "Neither are your electronic gadgets!" She shot back, shocking Kalani as she knew that Tecna didn't say anything wrong.
But Flora beat her before she could say anything. "Hey! This is no time to be fighting." She warned them. Each girl muttered a small sorry before turning away from each other. "Uhm, excuse me ladies." Someone called out, shocking everybody. When they all turned their heads, there stood a portly teen with glasses. "I couldn't help but notice that you were asking questions, and I might— I think I have the information you're looking for." He stammered before turning away nervously, "But maybe it's none of my business." Bloom and Musa quickly shot up and rushed over to the boy. "Are you kidding?! Why didn't you say so right away?" Bloom asked.
"Do you know anything about the black lagoon? If you do, please tell us. Pretty please with a cherry on top?" Musa pleaded. "Yeah, it's this great new restaurant outside the city, you follow the main road, and you keep going until you get to the bridge. Then, you can't miss it. There's a really large oak tree in front of it."
"Thanks a lot mister." Bloom blinked and suddenly, he was gone. "Where'd he go?" Flora asked. Kalani muttered something under her breath before walking up beside Musa. "This isn't a good thing. Is it?" She asked, Musa shook her head, agreeing with her friend before all five girls walked off.
