Death's POV
That day has come. This is the day wherein everyone should participate if they still want to have a home, family, and friends. The day I have to give everything I have to win and save my people. This is the day I am still determining if I'll exist the next day. This is the day I have to erase everything from my mind to focus on fighting and give my best to defeat our enemy, my enemy.
I hope Firo won't ruin my mood and pester me. I'll kick his ass if he does.
"Morning Dem, aga mo naman magising," Mia stated. Halatang kagigising lang dahil may tuyong laway pa sa bibig, kadiri.
"Yuck! Maghilamos ka nga muna dun Yang ambaho mo shoo," Kris said while pushing Mia to the bathroom.
Yes, aside from the bathroom inside our room, we also have a bathroom downstairs. These two, akala mo walang gulong mangyayare mamaya pagsapit ng blood moon. I still can't process the fact that I care for them. They're like family to me now, and I will do everything to give them their happiness, hopefully, kung mabubuhay man ako pagkatapos ng gulo. But in the meantime, ang maipapangako ko lang sa kanila ay ang maipanalo ang laban namin. I will not waste their time and effort to be strong during our training back in the mortal world.
I can feel their stares, but I dare not open my eyes. After decades of not feeling it, nararamdaman ko ulit siya ngayon. Natatakot ako hindi para sa sarili ko kundi para sa kanila. I don't want to lose someone I love anymore.
"Demonica De Castro, kanina ka pa namin tinatawag."
"What?" I heard them. Wala lang talaga akong balak makinig sa ingay nila.
"Anong what ka dyan. Sang lupalop ba napunta yang isip mo at hindi mo kami naririnig?" Mia and her big mouth.
"I heard you, idiot."
"Eh bakit hindi ka namamansin?" She asked again.
"You're so noisy, Mia Elizabeth." Mia Elizabeth is her name; she just doesn't want the Elizabeth thingy.
"Mia Dem, Mia." See?
"Alam mo yang, kumain nalang tayo para may lakas tayo mamaya. Kasi you know, we're going to fight those ugly creatures later." Kris is referring to our enemy.
"Tara na nga. Hoy babae, tumayo kana dyan." Napangiti nalang ako sa naging turan ni Mia. I will miss her loud voice.
"What are you smiling at? Ang creepy Dem, huhu." Geez.
"Whatever, Mia Elizabeth."
I can still hear Mia's runts at ang pag-awat sa kanya ni Kris, pero hindi ko nalang sila pinansin at dumiretso na sa kusina. I woke up early, kaya ako ng ang nagluto ng agahan namin.
"Ang bango naman. Nagutom ako lalo huhu," Mia said.
"Patay gutom ka talaga Yang kahit kelan." Puna naman ni Kris.
"I can't help it. Ang sarap magluto ni Dem, asawa na lang kulang." I just rolled my eyes at her.
Asawa? Malabo pa sa tubig kanal mangyare yan. I can't even think of my happy ending, especially the moment I knew that I am their lost princess.
"Eat. We have a lot of things to do," I said, and I started digging for food.
Tahimik lang kaming kumakain when an explosion interrupted us. Our dorm is shaking like a 7.8-magnitude earthquake just hit us. Students are shouting out of fear and agony. Hindi kami gumalaw sa kina-uupuan namin at kapwa nakamasid sa paligid.
Our enemy is just so excited that they can't wait for the blood moon to come out.
I know that the Dark King sent us a message informing us that war will occur once the blood moon rises. That's so nice of him, tsk.
