Death's POV
I know what you're thinking, readers. And the hell do I care? Andito sila, ang mga tinatawag nilang royalties, and that includes my ex-gangmates.
Maaga akong nagising ngayon. I decided to stroll around the academy. So far, my first night here went well; no nightmares either. 'Yun ang pinagtataka ko. When I was in the mortal world, I usually had nightmares every night kaya minsan ayuko ng matulog.
But then unexpected things really do happen at unexpected times and days. You see? I just bumped into the royalty's leader.
Since it's already 7 a.m. I went to the cafeteria. Hindi pala ako nakakain kagabi kaya gutom na gutom na ako. I ordered two pancakes, a glass of milk, and one banana cake. I don't eat rice in the morning; usually, I only eat rice during lunch and then dessert for dinner.

"You're really stupid, tsk." Yeah, yeah.
"Stupid my ass." Inirapan ko na lang siya. Nababadtrip ako sa pagmumukha ng lalaking 'to.
"What did you just say?" Oh, gagalit agad eh.
"Walang ulitan sa mga bingi." Bahala siya. Bakit nga ba ako napunta dito?
I was about to turn my back on him when I felt something hot.
"Playing dirty eh?" I just saw him smirk. Akala niya ba matatakot ako sa ganyan?
Yeah, I don't have powers like them, but I can protect myself.
The jerk is smirking while playing with the fire in his hand. I admit, it amazes me. Nakatingin lang ako sa apoy na nasa kamay niya.
"Scared now?" I'm not born to be sacred.
"Not going to happen, jerk." After I said those, I positioned myself.
He threw the fire in my direction. Muntik na akong matamaan, but thanks to my fast reflexes. I flip back; habang hindi pa nakakalapag sa lupa ang paa ko, kinuha ko ang dagger na ginawa kong pantali ng buhok at binato sa kanya.
He didn't see it. The dagger makes its way to his right arm and leaves a cut. His eyes turn red as he becomes enraged. Red like his fire.
He threw his fire again, but this time hindi lang ito nag-iisa. Limang naglalakihang bola ng apoy ang papunta sa direksyon ko. Galit na galit ang kuya niyo. Puro iwas lang ang ginawa ko. Alangan namang hintayin kong matusta ako tsk.
Hinugot ko naman ang daggers na nakatago sa boots ko. I always have these daggers in case of emergencies. At tingin ko sa sitwasyon ko ngayon gamit na gamit ko ito.
Pasimple kung binato kay jerk ang isa pang dagger at sinundan pa ng isa. I invented those daggers. He should be thankful. He's busy avoiding it when I throw him another one.
Those daggers can move on their own through science. I told you, I love inventing. They will follow the enemy's every move at hindi ito titigil hangga't hindi ka neto masusugatan.
I can say jerk is good, pero kulang pa. Maybe he's good at using his power, but not in physical combat. Though nakakaiwas siya, pero hindi sa lahat ng oras. May mga sugat na siya ngayon. He's a leader, for goodness sake. Anong klaseng training lang ba ang ginagawa nila dito?
Habang busy siya kakaiwas sa mga daggers ko, umalis nalang ako at bumalik sa dinaanan kanina. Tumingin ako sa relo ko at 8:15 am na. Late na ako ng 15 minutes sa first class ko.
