Death's POV
I'm here at the top of the tree. I prefer it here because it is peaceful. At least the university still has this.
I can see my gangmates from here. They knew me; I love peaceful places. And as usual, nag aaway na naman ang dalawang bata.
"Anong approaching Kim? Tanga getting near yun" Drake said
"No. It's approaching ba-ka" Kim
"Its getting near nga" Drake
"No! It's-/shut the fuck up!" Kim wasn't able to finish what she is about to say, because Sam and Kent cut her off
Somehow, I felt that they had this aura that I could not tell. It feels like they're hiding something. I have trusted them from the very beginning; I just hope they're not going to waste it.
Speaking of the devils.
"What if Queen knows, na we have powers? Would she still accept us?" sabi ni kim. Wtf? Powers? They're joking, right?
"I dunno, maybe yes, maybe no." Drake
"Or baka pagtawanan tayo, sino ba naman kasing maniniwala na totoo yung powers diba?" Drake continues.
"Or she will hate us. Remember, we did not tell her about our true identity." Sam said.
Yeah, you're right, Sam. After all those years we've been together? Still, I haven't gained your trust after all the sh*t I have been through just to save you all. I'm fuckin* mad right now. They made me stupid for believing that they are just normal people and that they do not have these super powers.
I was planning to jump, but nah, I changed my mind. I don't want to see their so-called fake identity.
"Nasan naba kasi si lead? This place is quiet. I thought we could find her here." Drake said
*bell rang*
"Let's go. Maybe she's in the classroom already." Kent said, and the latter agreed.
I waited 5 minutes before I jumped down. I lost my appetite. I walk directly to the parking area. As I arrived, I went to my car and drove off. Bahala silang mag-commute mamaya. Remember? Iisang sasakyan lang gamit namin kanina.
While driving, I remembered what Kim said. Powers? Really?
*beepp*
Holy shit! I hurriedly went out of my car.
"Lola, are you okay?" instead of answering. She is just looking at me intently.
"Lola?" i said again
"Princess" what? Me? Princess?
"I'm not a princess" 'Coz I'm more than that.
"Ahh pasensya kana iha, may kamukha ka kasi" alanganin niyang sabi.
"Ayos lang po ba kayo?" i ask
"Oo iha. Pasensya kana at bigla akong tumawid." she said while smiling. I find it weird.
"Ayos lang po. Sa susunod mag-ingat po kayo" tumango naman siya. Good, buti ng magkaintindihan kami.
"Sige iha, mauuna nako sayo. Hinihintay na ako ng apo ko. Mag-iingat ka, madami kapang haharaping pagsubok." as she bids goodbye nakatingin lang ako sa pigura niyang papalayo. That old woman is really weird.
I'm inside my car, still thinking about that lady. Minutes went by, and I arrived safely at the mansion.
"Good afternoon Young Lady" butler John said and bowed his head as a sign of respect. I nodded at him and passed through him, walking directly to my room.
I felt so tired today. It feels like my energy has been drained for no reason.
