Death's POV
Instead of thinking, how the hell did I do that? I start the engine and drive back home.
On my way, I take a look at the forest, and there I see that silhouette again. Red eyes, looking at me like his precious prey. I didn't mind him, I drove fast home so that I could sleep.
Minutes of driving, and then I'm home. The gate automatically opens after scanning my car. Then I see Butler John coming in my direction.
"Good afternoon young lady" he said and bowed.
I just nodded at him. What do you expect?
"Where are your gangmates, young lady?" he asked.
"School"
As I entered the house, the maids were in front of me, bowing their heads. That's their daily routine. Aren't they tired of doing that? I gesture for them to stand; ako napapagod sa kanila. It's not that I don't want them to respect me, but they do that every single time whenever I'm around this mansion.
I'm now inside my room, still wondering what I did earlier. I can't imagine having those abilities. Where the hell did I get those? My foster parents? Nah, foster nga eh. Asking me, since when did I learn that they are my foster parents? Well, since the beginning. But I didn't treat them like that; I treated them like my real parents. They gave me life; they provided everything that I needed and even gave me their surnames and businesses.
Maybe I got those from my real parents.
My foster family has a private library. At first, I didn't have the urge to know what was inside since I thought it was just some business library where they kept their confidential files, but as I grew older, I became curious as to why they went there when everyone was sleeping already.
My mother used to tell me when I was little.
"Do not go inside the library, okay? Wait until the right time comes." she said.
"Why, mommy? What's inside?" my little voice answered, full of curiosity.
"When you grow up, you'll know." She always told me that.
Since I was so curious about it, I sneaked out and went to their private library. Luckily, my dad forgot to lock the door. I pushed it slowly so as not to make any noise. The moment I step my foot inside, that changes everything.
I've discovered a lot. I'm not their real daughter. Their friend, I think my parents, left me at their doorstep with a letter on it stating to take good care of me until the time comes. My heart was shattered at that time, but I had no time to hate them. I love them, and wherever I go, I still honor them as my parents. About those who killed them? Maybe it has something to do with the abilities I have right now.
And their wealth? Nakapangalan sa akin lahat. I have my own businesses too. Hindi ako umaasa sa yaman na bigay ng mga magulang ko. But it doesn't mean na pababayaan ko yung mga pinaghirapan nila.
Anyway, enough with the story-telling. I have to take a shower so that I can sleep afterwards.
After minutes of doing my bedtime routine, I'm done and ready to sleep.
