"i genuinely don't care about your sob story because did those people mean anything to you? no. but gage he was actually a person in this world." lilia said. maggie didn't reply.

lily followed close behind negan as they walked towards a door. the door was opening, gage was up front. lily stared into his eyes. daryl knew gage was gone, he also knew that was gonna hurt lily. when the walkers made it through the door, no one touched gage, they let him pass. lily grabbed him by his back collar and went to the back.

"i'm sorry i let you leave, you would still be here if i made you stay. i love you more then the world itself. thank you for everything." she said before putting him out, there were walkers coming from the other side now. meanwhile, daryl was coming through the other side. he made sure dog didn't make a sound, he began to shoot all the walkers. the others were working on the other side.

everyone came through the other side. he screamed. "get down!" he put a grenade in the walkers mouth, lily did not get down. she just stayed in the back. she had been around grenades before. her dad was daryl dixon, what do you expect? lily avoided everyone as they finished walking through the tunnel. she didn't care to talk anyways. she sat near no one, she was sick and tired of seeing people. maggie was heading out, lily refused to go with them. she went the other way.

"your coming with." daryl said. "come on dad. i'm tired of these people. just let me be alone." he said.

"okay. stay safe." he told her. she nodded her head and walked off. she walked, very quietly. she stabbed a walker but she saw a knife fly at her, she quickly ducked 2 men ran for her. one stabbed her in the back of the shoulder. she yelled in pain. she killed the two men but not before she got cut in the cheek. she ran back to hilltop, she made sure to get there. no. matter. what.

magna grabbed her hand when she made it in after about 2 hours of running. when she arrived she chose not to see judith just yet, not until she got this knife out of her shoulder. "this is going to hurt. a lot. but you'll be okay." lily nodded at the doctor. they ripped the knife out of her back. "ow!" she shouted. she wanted daryl but he wasn't there, they bandaged her up and she walked to judith and rj. "jude, rj." she said they both jumped on her, she winced. judith noticed and immediately jumped off of her. "what happened?" judith asked.

"well. i got hurt. but it's okay." she said playing with rjs curls. "where is uncle daryl and aunt maggie and gage?" she asked.

"my dad and maggie are fine." lily said. "and gage?" judith asked. "is gone." lily said tears welling up in her eyes. "sorry." judith said. "it's good." she replied walking them to the side. rosita walked over to greet her she quickly wiped her tears.

"i heard about- him. i'm sorry dear." she said. "thanks rose." lily replied. rosita pulled her in for a hug. "i lost my best friend when i was young. if you ever need anything, i'm here for you."

"thank you so much." she said. "i've got you kid." rosita replied walking away with her baby, coco.

lily was helping a few people with moving everything, so they could fix one of the walls. "what happened out there?" they asked. "maggie was a bitch about everything, and everyone was selfish." she said.

"maggie was a bitch?" aaron asked. "yeah, told me she couldn't save my bestfriend, but she could and the walkers came through anyways." she said.

"a rumor is spreading about you." a man admitted. "what's that?"

"a random guy is telling everyone you cried like a bitch when henry was cheating on you with lydia." he said. "cool, i couldn't care less." she said looking at the door opening. it was daryl and the others, negan and maggie included, he wasn't hurt at all.

"what the?" she asked. she walked away, she really didn't feel like talking to them. but before she could maggie pulled her aside.

"i thought you were leaving." lily looked at her annoyed. "not for a while, we need to talk."

they went and sat on some wood. "what do you want to talk about?" she asked.

"gage. i didn't know he meant something to you." maggie said. "it wasn't obvious?" lily asked. "come on maggie. open your eyes."

she wanted to walk off but she stayed. "look, i'm sorry." maggie said. "okay?" lily said, that apology didn't mean anything to her. "and you forgive negan?" maggie asked rolling her eyes.

"i never forgave negan, maggie. i told him i didn't hate him, that's it. the rumor got spread that i forgave him, but i said i didn't hate him. because he actually had a reason to kill glenn and jonah." she said. "a reason?!" maggie yelled. "yeah a goddamn reason maggie! we were killing his people, he killed our people it's the circle of life. i understand that i loved them both but i've given up on caring, you. you though. you didn't have a reason, you let him die when the walkers got in anyways! that didn't ever cross your mind?! but you let gage die because you think you know everything."

"let that roll around in your mind for a second, it's gonna take awhile before i stop hating you." she said. "i wish i never met you."

she walked over, daryl had been listening. "what happened?" he asked. "gage was on the edge of death, he was in a room full of walkers but maggie refused to open the door, but they got through the damn door anyways so i'm pissed off." lily said.

"i'm really sorry." daryl said. "i'm sorry you got so damn hurt too."

"i couldn't give a shit less that i got hurt. gage is dead. and beta isn't." lily said. daryl grabbed her hand. "i love you so much." he said. "i love you too." she said smiling a bit.

she went and layed in her bed.

"i fuckin hate everyone."

this chapter is horrible but yeah, her and maggie are not gonna be friends any time soon... sorry.
