~Rosie's POV~
I kind of agreed with Lydia, and I wanted to tell her about how I felt towards Jace, but didn't know how to. "Hey Lydia..?" I ask, kind of hesitantly. She looks up at me, "yeah?" I take a deep breath and think of how to word what I was thinking. "Those jokes you and Robert make.. About me and Jace.. Whenever I see him I feel like butterflies are in my stomach, and I want to try and impress him. Almost as if...." I trail off, hoping Lydia would understand. "As if you love him?" Lydia asks, shocked. I shake my head yes, slightly. "Wow.. Well.. Heh.. He's in the doorway.." Lydia says after awhile and I jerk my head up to see Jace and Robert waiting at the door, listening to our conversation. "That, took a turn in conversation," Robert says, smirking. I groan and put my head under a pillow, not caring if they saw. "Rosie! Wait! I.." Jace trails off, and I keep my head under the pillow, hearing Lydia talk quietly to the boys, then someone closes the door. "Rosie.. Please.. Say something.." Jace says after he sits down on the bed and reaches for my hand. I sigh, before letting him take my hand and slowly sticking my head out from under the pillow. "Rosie, you didn't let me finish," he says, smiling a crooked smile. "Then finish," I say, quietly. "I love you," he says, looking down at his feet. I haven't ever said those words before, and I was shocked. "I-I love you t-too," he looks up at me, his eyes shining. "Sorry, I've never said that before.." I felt the blush creep up onto my cheeks again, and I look away. He chuckles quietly before using his other hand to pull my face towards his, I close my eyes, not knowing why, and I feel his lips touch my cheek, ever so gently. "Hey.. Rosie.." Jace looks at me, now that my eyes were open. "Yeah?" I say, softly. "Um, I don't know how much you know.. But.. I was wondering.. If.. You.. Would.. Be.. My.. Girlfriend..?" He asks me, very quietly and hesitantly. I had never seen Jace so shy before, let alone this hesitant to say something. "Yes," I say, still talking softly. All of a sudden a big crack of thunder can be heard, and I jump up, before falling back onto the bed and curling up in the corner. "Hey hey, it's okay," Jace says quietly, taking my hand again and pulling me closer towards him. "Storms.." Is all I can manage to say, before I pass out.
