~Rosie's POV~
Me and Lydia sat down to eat, before I hear a rustling in the bushes. "Hey, I'll be right back.." I grab the gun from my belt and slowly walk outside. I drop dead when I see a momma bear and her cubs. Lydia had followed me, along with Ethan. "Guys.." I stare at them, shocked. "Lydia, Rosie, we can't take them on by ourselves.." Ethan says before a cub notices and starts to growl. "Oh.." I couldn't finish my sentence before one of the Cubs jumps at me and scratches from the bottom of my right eye, to my chin. "That, hurt," I say, trying not to fall on the ground. "Oh my God Rosie, you okay?!" Lydia had a scratch on her arm, but not as bad as my face. "Yup, I am 100% good," I hold my hand up to my face. "Where's Ethan?" I ask, confused. "Went to get dad, come on, let's go get cleaned up," we go to walk back into the log cabin, when I hear growling from inside. "Lydia.." I say, my right eye kind of swelling shut. "Rosie.. Let's go.." We kick open the door and look around to see dad fighting the mama bear with Ethan, and two cubs behind their mom. My aiming wasn't the greatest, and neither was Lydia's, she hunted but her arm was still bleeding and it made it hard to aim. "Stupid bear cubs!" I say, getting mad. "Wait, aren't there three cubs?!" Lydia asks, worried. "Where's the third..? And where's mom and Travis?!" So many questions, I couldn't answer them all. I shoo the thoughts away and attempt to aim at the cub, managing to hit in the back of the head. "My aiming is bad Lydia," I tell her, as I look at her through my good eye. "Mine is too, but we got the two cubs, just where's the third?" Hair then I hear a scream, a high, scared scream. Then a growl, I attempt to run upstairs, but fall and hit my head passing out. The last thing I see is Lydia running upstairs with dad.
