~Lydia's POV~
I knew Rosie needed her space but it was getting dark out and she didn't need to be out there alone. I put on my boots, grab my coat and head outside. Robert was outside playing with Bandit when I went out.
"Where are you going?" He asks me looking away from Bandit.
"To get Rosie," I say and walk past him.
"What's with you and the woods?!" He calls out to me. I stop and turn around.
"The forest, my friend, is something so amazing, it can't be explained with words," I say and walk off but he follows.
"If your gonna come grab that lantern," I say. He goes and gets the lantern before catching up with me.
"How is it awesome?" He asks.
"You would just have to experience it for yourself," I say as we walk in the darkness to find Rosie.
"How would I do that?" He asks me. I stop and smile.
"Next time I go hunting, you're gonna come with me," I say and walk ahead of him.
"ROSIE!" I call out. I hear a faint he'll come from a distance and I follow it. A few minutes later I see Rosie jump from out of a tree in front of me and Robert jumps. I turn and laugh at him and he tries to act cool which made Rosie laugh.
"Let's go," I say. We get back to the cabin and eat dinner before going up to our rooms. Rosie and I go in our room and I change into my sleep wear.
"Where are mine?" Rosie asks looking on her bed.
"I washed them today, sleep in what you got," I say. She nods and takes off her boots and we go to sleep. I wake up the next morning and go downstairs. Nobody was at the table, just a bunch of bricks sitting there. Ethan walks in holding more bricks and looks at me.
"Good morning sleepy head. Last one awake this morning," he says putting the bricks on the table.
"What time you come home last night?" I ask.
"Around eleven," he says.
"Okay. Well what's with the bricks?" I ask.
"Building a fire place," Ethan asks and walks out of the room. I hear the wood creaking from behind me and I turn around to see Travis coming down the stairs.
"Your awake," I say.
"I've been awake," he says. He still had the bandage on his head but the blood seeped through.
"We will have to change your bandage tonight," I say and he just nods.
"Morning," I hear Robert say from behind me.
"You're pretty convincing," I say laughing.
"What can I say, the brain bush is filled with all kinds of great ideas," he says laughing.
"Well thanks to you we are gonna probably be spending the next month fitting bricks together like a game of Tetris," I say. He just laughs at me and walks up behind me. He grabs my hand again and we just stand there.
"What are you doing?" I ask again.
"Just showing how much I care," he says simply. Jace and Rosie walk in a stop in the tracks when they see us.
"Um?" Jace says confused. I let go of Roberts hand quickly and I could feel my face get red.
"You know what?" I say looking at Jace and Rosie then I look at Robert.
"It seems as if we were all hidden lovers," I say and take Roberts hand once again.
