~Rosie's POV~
The cold was getting to me, but still I didn't leave. I didn't want to go back and see Jace mad at me. I heard footsteps and look down to see Lydia with my jacket. "Rosie?" She asks, looking around for me. "In the tree," I say from above. She notices me and tosses my jacket up, I grab it and wrap myself in it. "D-did Jace follow you.?" I ask, kind of scared. "Not that I know of, unless he's listening to us secretly," she says. "Good," I reply, jumping down. "Are you coming back?" Lydia asks, concerned. I shake my head, no. "Right.. Well.. I'll go finish dinner.." She says before walking off, and I notice she looks back at me every now and then before I can't see her anymore. I had to go back, apologize to Jace, more like he apologize to me. I wanted so badly to hug him, for him to hold me in his arms. For him to tell me he loves me and there's no anger in his voice, just admiration. He has taught me a lot about relationships. I close my eyes, refusing to cry. But I couldn't do it, the tears fall down my face, silently. Did I just lose the love of my life? Did I just mess up part of my life? So many questions, with answers I either didn't know, or didn't want to hear. I wipe away the tears and stand up, it was time to go back home. I had to get the answers, even if it meant breaking down, even if it meant my dad finding out about me and Jace, if we still were dating.
