~Rosie's POV~
I kept looking at my necklace that Jace had got me. I had taken my ladder out to my tree, and was sitting in it. I had put everything I got upstairs, except for the clip Travis made me, the necklace Jace got me, and the ring Ethan got me. I figured Jace would come out here in a little while, dad said me and Lydia didn't have to do anything we didn't want to do. "How's the view?" I hear from down on the ground, and look to see Jace. "I see something I like down there," I say, smiling. "Oh really? Well I think I'll just have to come up there," he laughs and climbs the ladder. I scoot over and make room for him. "Thank you, for the necklace, for everything," I say, laying my head on his shoulder. "Anything for my baby girl," he says, almost quietly. "What was that?" I ask, smirking. "Oh nothing.." He says, the blush creeping up onto his face. "Baby girl?" I ask, feeling the blush on my face as well. "You weren't suppose to hear that.." He says, almost awkwardly. "Hey, guess what?" I say, smiling. "What?" He looks at me, confused. "I love you," I say, smiling. "I love you too," he says before taking my hand. "I have one more surprise for you," he says before pulling me down out of the tree and leading me back to the house. On the table, there was this thing, it was round and was on a big serving plate. I lean against Jace's chest and feel his arms around me. "What's that?" I ask, confused. "It's a cake," Jace says, laughing. "So that's cake!" I say, laughing. "Yes, Ethan and Isabelle helped us find a cake," I didn't know my brother could be so secretive. "You can try some, you know that? It's edible," Robert had come down with Lydia and was explain the exact same thing Jace explained to me. "Go eat some," Jace says into my ear. "I don't want to leave your arms," I say, pouting. "Come on, please Rosie," Jace looks at me with pleading eyes. "Fineeee, you owe me later," I say before sitting down next to Lydia while Jace and Robert cut the cake for everyone to have a piece. It was a yellow cake with strawberry frosting. I poke it with my fork. "Is this going to be like Burger King?" I ask, laughing at the memory. "I hope so!" Jace says, laughing and flinging cake at Robert. "Hey!" Robert yells, pretending to be mad. I throw cake at Jace, smiling evilly. "Love you!" I say before throwing cake at Lydia. "Oh it's on!" We all start throwing cake at each other, smiling and laughing. I lick the cake off my face and smile. "That tastes good!" I say, laughing. "Well this is official, this is better then Burger King!" Robert and Jace say, also laughing. "Best birthday ever!" I say before getting up and kissing Jace.
