~Rosie's POV~
"Rosie, bring some bandages and a rag," Lydia says to me. I run to where we keep the bandages and grab a wet rag. I walk into to where Lydia was and see Travis laying on the ground with his head busted open. I walk over and gently clean his head with the rag, before bandaging it. I pick him up, since he wasn't that heavy, and carry him to his bed, where he can rest properly. I pull a chair up and sit by his bedside to make sure he doesn't get any worse. Out of instinct I reach up to my face to feel my scar, it was the same scar from the night my mom died. It took awhile for me to finally see out of my right eye again, and then it took awhile to get used to using both eyes again. Jace almost had a heart attack when he saw my face. Robert turned almost like a ghost when Lydia turned up her arm to show them her scar. But that whole thing happened months ago, and now it was mine and Lydia's birthday month. Our birthday was December 26, the day after Christmas. Jace and Robert didn't know, unless someone told them. We got presents on both Christmas and our birthday, but our birthday was a little different. We never had cake, I didn't even know what that looked like, Jace and Robert would talk about it sometimes and then try and figure out when our birthday is.
I was jolted out of my thoughts when I saw Travis squirming around. "Careful Travis, you might hurt your head more," I say, reaching my hand out to touch his, a simple way to get him to calm down. He nods, and I pull my hand away when he closes his eyes, and falls asleep.
