~Lydia's POV~
Heavy rain hit the concrete road and thunder roars as lighting dances across the sky.
"Should we be leaving Rosie?" I ask her as we sit under the rock staying dry.
"No, you two are leaving in weather like this," Robert says.
"Robert we've lived in the woods all our lives, we are used to a little storm," Rosie says. Despite what she says she sat there shaking in fear of the storm.
"Don't care, just stay with us until the storm blows over," Jace says.
"Lydia maybe we should, just in case," Rosie says, fear in her eyes. I sigh but I also knew arguing with her when she was scared wasn't gonna do anything so I nodded my head in agreement. We stand up and run as fast as we can down a rocky road and stop at a house that was ten times bigger than our cabin.
"Ladies first," Robert says opening the door up. We walk in and I stand there, soaked and cold.
"Mom!" Jace screams. A tall woman turns a corner and looks at the guys.
"Who are they?" She asks pointing towards us.
"This is Rosie and Lydia," Jace says smiling.
"And they are here why?" She asks.
"This is there first time in the city and the storm is to bad for them to go home so is it okay for them to stay here till it passes over?" Robert asks. The woman sighed before responding.
"Yeah I guess, just get them a towel and dry them off," she says before walking away. Jace and Robert walk up carpeted stairs and lead us into a small room with a large bed.
"I'll get you some towels," Robert says before leaving the room.
"What's this?" I ask.
"It's where you'll be staying," Jace says. Robbie walks back in with two towels and hands one to me and then one to Rosie. They leave the room closing the door leaving just Rosie and I in a strange room. I take the towel and wipe my face with it and Rosie does the same. I dry myself of the best I could before I sit down on the incredibly comfortable bed.
"Can you believe this?" Rosie asks sitting beside me.
"No. It's....so different," I say not knowing if I liked the different or hated the fact they got everything so easy. We heard a knock at the door and the guys walk in.
"Hey, y'all ready?" Robert asks.
"For what?" I ask confused.
"You'll see," Jace says and they exit the room leaving us sitting there in confusion.
