~Lydia's POV~
We worked on the fireplace for weeks on end. We got up, ate breakfast and automatically went and worked on the fireplace. Dad was on the roof cutting out a hole for the chimney to go through while Robert and I continued putting bricks into place.
"What's this mean?" I ask him.
"It means we are gonna get this fireplace done either today or tomorrow," he says chuckling. I laugh at him and pass him a brick. Hours went by and soon we were passing bricks up to dad on the roof so he could build the chimney. After another four hours dad gets the chimney done and Rosie and I are bringing in wood to put in it for dinner later tonight.
"How long did this take?" Travis asks.
"About three weeks," I respond.
"It's almost your birthday girls," dad says.
"I know," I say smiling.
"Oh is it now?" Robert says.
"Yeah," I say lowering my head. We never told Jace or Robert when our birthday day was but I think they are about to figure it out.
"Did you not tell him when your birthdays were?" Ethan asks laughing.
"No," Rosie says making a face at him.
"It's December twenty-sixth," Travis says laughing.
"Interesting," Robert says before going upstairs.
