~Rosie's POV~
"I'm sorry," I whisper into Jace's ear, still hugging him. I wanted to hug him and never let him go. "It's okay, I'll always love you," he says before pulling back to look at my eyes. I wipe away the tears that were left from yelling at my dad. "I'm gonna go back upstairs," I tell Jace before running upstairs and falling onto my bed. I hear a small knock on my door and see Jace. "You followed?" I say, kind of shocked. "Well yeah. Wanted to make sure you were okay," he walks over and sits next to me. "I'm fine," I say, looking away. "No your not," he says before gently taking my hand in his. "Yeah I am," I say, looking over at him. I was about to say something before he cuts me off by gently pressing his lips against mine. It was nice to kiss him, but him kissing me felt different. It felt amazing. He pulls away and looks at me. "Better?" He asks, smiling. "Better," I say before laying my head on his shoulder and falling asleep after awhile.
When I wake up the next morning, I'm on my pillow and under my blankets. When did this happen? I rub my eyes, and sit up, I get dressed and redo my hair before walking downstairs. "Hey your awake!" I look at everyone at the table and yawn. "Mhm," I say, still half asleep. "She isn't a morning person, Jace," Lydia says, laughing. I manage to stumble over to my seat next to Jace and sit in it, before I lay my head down on the table. "Rosie, you going to eat or sleep on the table?" Ethan asks, laughing. "Both," I say before I feel a pitcher of water fall onto my head, waking me up. I look behind me to see that Robert had thrown it into me. "Thank you, for making me wet," I say sarcastically. "Anytime!" He says before running over to his chair and sitting down. I hadn't put my hair up, so it hung down with the weight of the water. I shake my head, like a dog, and manage to get Jace wet in the process. "Thank you, Rosie," Jace says, trying to be mad. "No problem," I say before eating my breakfast.
I finish my breakfast before walking back upstairs to fix my messy hair. I never used a mirror to just brush my hair, so when someone came up behind me and hugged me from behind, I became a statue. "Hey you," Jace says, laughing. "Hi," I say before laughing as well. "Your going to be in trouble if you don't go do your jobs for the day," I tell him after finishing my hair. "I know, I'll see you later, ok?" I nod before turning around to face him. "I'll see you around," he says laughing before heading out to do his jobs for the day, and I do the same.
