~Rosie's POV~
I slowly walk upstairs, still in my coat. I was still cold, even from sitting by the fire. I just hope, with all my heart, that Jace wasn't going to yell at me again. I slowly gather courage and knock on his door, hoping he would answer. "Coming!" I hear from behind the door. He opens the door, and pulls me into a hug. "I'm so sorry.. So freaking sorry," he says, I could feel the tears fall onto my coat. "Hey it's okay, I forgive you, I shouldn't have asked you that. I'm so sorry," I say to him, repeating his words. I guess tears were falling from my face again because he pulls away and leads me into his room. I sit down on his bed, and he sits next to me, wiping away his tears. "Why are you crying?" I ask him. "Because I almost lost you because of some stupid thing," he says, fresh tears on his face. I lay my head on his shoulder and he plays with my hair. "Please stop crying," I say, looking up at him. "I can't, I keep thinking about-" I cut him off by pressing my lips against his, I had never kissed anyone on the lips before. I pull away and look at him, smiling a crooked smile. "If you wanted me to shut up, you should have said so," he says, chuckling. "Just be glad no one saw that," I say, blushing. "If Robert heard, he'll be teasing me for days," Jace says, laughing. "Well your happy, and we both stopped crying. I say we head down for dinner?" I reach for his hand. "I would love to," he says, letting me take his hand in mine.
We walk downstairs, and I forgot that I was holding Jace's hand, because my dad sees it. I'm in trouble. I think to myself.
