~Rosie's POV~
"Will it eat me?" I ask shyly. That just makes Jace and Robert laugh harder, if that's even possible. "No Rosie, you eat it," Jace says, finally not laughing. "Oh.." I say, a little scared. Lydia pokes hers with her finger. "Well, this is our first date, and it's going amazingly," Jace says, smiling at me. "What's a date?" I ask, confused. This time I hide my face behind my hands, not wanting to see the look on Jace's face. "A date is something you go on with someone who means a lot to you," Robert says after awhile. I have no clue what Lydia was doing. "Rosie, your hands are covering your face," Jace says slowly bringing my hands down to the table. "Hey Lydia, I'm gonna eat it!" I say, laughing. "Good luck," Lydia says. I pick the burger up like Jace did and attempt to eat it. I manage to take a bite, but this red and yellow stuff squirts out all over my face and I burst out laughing. "What is this?!" I ask, so confused. "That's ketchup and mustard," Jace says gently cleaning my face off with a napkin. "Wow, it attacked me!" The boys lost it again in a laughing fit. "I'm funny? Ethan doesn't think so," I say out loud, not realizing it. Jace perks up instantly. "Whose Ethan?" He asks, hurt in his eyes. "Our older brother," I say to him, laughing with Lydia. "Ohh," he says, laughing. "What's this?" I ask, seeing something in a box. "That's a fry. Try it," Jace takes my hand ever so gently and makes me pick the fry and put it in his hand. "Are you going to eat it?" I ask, confused. "No, close your eyes," I close my eyes and he feeds me the fry and I smile at how it tastes. "It tastes like a potato!" I say happily. Jace and Robert laugh before picking everything up at the table and then leading me and Lydia out the door. "Where to now?" I ask happily. "You'll see," Jace says gently taking my hand in his and leading me through the crowds. Robert and Lydia follow behind us, not holding hands like me and Jace. "Hey Jace?" I ask, confused. "Yes Rosie?" He says back, smiling. "When you explained a date.. Who do you care about a lot?" I was confused about a date. "I'll tell you at mine and Robert's favorite spot," Jace says happily. I look back and see Lydia and Robert still following behind us.
About a little ways walk, we reach there special spot. It was a little cave hidden, and you could see the lake with the forest in the background. "It's so pretty!" I say happily. Jace chuckles and pulls me a little closer to him. "Soooo you wanted to know who I care about?" He asks me, half smiling. I nod, suddenly shy. "You," he says before turning to look at the lake. I had no words, but then, a storm blew in, and fast too.
