~Lydia's POV~
I wanted to follow Rosie outside to make sure she was okay but I knew dad and Ethan would want time with her. I look down at my arm, still needed to be cared for. I get the first aid kit and pull out thread and needle and bring the "sink" or bowl of water to the dining room table. I grab an old rag and dip it in the water and ring out the excess. I wipe the wet rag across my wounded arm to clean up the blood and tried to ignore the burning that came with it. Once I got the blood all off I thread the needle and begin stitching up my arm. I heard the door open and Rosie walks in, sees me and sits down at the table.
"Why are you doing that?" She asks.
"Because I don't want a giant gash in my arm," I say trying to laugh through the pain as I stuck the needle in my arm.
"I mean why are you doing it yourself," she asks.
"Well the boys most certainly gonna do it," I say.
"Wait then who did mine?" She asks feeling the bandage on her face. I was half way done with my arm already, it was from the crease of my elbow to the palm of my hand. I look up at Rosie and smile.
"You did my face with your arm like that?!" She asks shocked. I nod and finish up the last of my stitching and run water over it again to get the excess blood. I move my arm around a bit to get used to it and then put my hand in my pocket.
"Rosie," I say quietly.
"Yeah?" She asks quietly as well.
"I need to show you something," I say pulling out the locket. At first she just looks at me until I dip it in the water and wash it off, then her face fills with tears.
"Mom's.....locket," she says choking up.
"Have you ever seen the inside?" I ask. She shakes her head and wipes away a tear from her visible eye. I click the button and open it up and hand it to her. She takes it from my hand and bawls when she reads it.
"Her true two," Rosie repeats with tears in her voice. She closes it and hands it to me and stands up to walk away.
"Rosie wait," I say.
"What?" She asks not turning around to look at me.
"Here," I say pulling out the hair clip. She turns around and looks at it sadly before taking it from my hand.
"Thanks," she says before walking upstairs.
