~Rosie's POV~
I slowly trudge upstairs and instead of going towards the room where I sleep, I walk towards mom and dads shared room. It was weird, using only my left eye, but I couldn't really complain. I slowly walk into there room and sit down on where mom use to sleep, and cry. Cry, and cry some more. I cried so much that my face hurt, but I didn't care. What Lydia showed me, I knew I had to be strong, for mom. But sometimes I don't always have to be strong, like dad said. Eventually I curl up, and fall asleep, just like that.
~Time skip to December 1~
The snow was already falling, for such an early time in December. Me and Lydia took care of cooking and everything mom use to do, in between Lydia hunting and me getting other ingredients for our meals. The prey was scarce now, so Lydia and Bandit would sometimes stay out longer, until night sometimes. Jace and Robert live with us now, they help out around the house. Dad doesn't know me and Jace are dating, we usually meet in secret. Sometimes he'll come with me to protect me from anything outside, but also so we can talk in private. We haven't kissed on the lips, yet. Jace always talks about what it would be like though. "It's cold outside," I say, kind of joking around. "Well it's winter, Rosie," Jace says, almost laughing. "I know that, but it's snowing, and sticking!" I always loved the snow. Jace laughs at me, I was acting almost childish. "Rosie, does Lydia hunt all day, everyday?" Robert asks me. "Not everyday, but yes," I tell him before turning back to whatever I was suppose to be doing. "Rosie? What are you doing?" Jace asks me, looking mildly amused. "I have absolutely no idea," I say before deciding that I should take a look to see what we have for dinner. "Jace come with me," I say before grabbing his wrist and pulling him along. "What..?" He asks, looking at me. "It's hard for me to keep hiding the fact that I love you," I say while pretending to look for stuff in the kitchen. "I know, it's hard for me too, but we're both happy," he says finally. "Are you happy you and Robert aren't with your parents?" I ask suddenly. "I-I don't wanna talk about it.." He says, before walking out. I sigh and continue looking for things for dinner, I know Jace won't talk to me for awhile. I shouldn't have asked that, my stupid mind.
