     Dear future me. Well it's been a weird one this year. I've been through hell and back this year. I hope you are doing better than I am. I hope by the time you are reading this you are out. I hope you are living your best life. I hope you are adopted by now. I'm living with great people right now and I really hope that it lasts. I hope you are still with Aniyah. She has been amazing to me these last few months so I hope you are still with her. And most of all I hope that you found peace. I hope the voices in your head have finally shut up and you are okay with living the life you were given.

I folded the piece of paper and stuck it in between some random book on my bookshelf. Forget it and find it later. I hopped on my bed and pulled out my phone. I clicked on twitter just to kill some time. The first thing that popped up was an article about Lin. I clicked on it and the headline was something that I felt like was bound to happen.

Lin-Manuel Miranda spotted multiple times with a teen boy in various locations, and online.

People are now speculating that he has a hidden son. Miranda has tweeted pictures of this boy with his younger son Sebastian. Speculations have been running high as to who this mysterious teen is.

I sent it to Lin and Vanessa in our group chat and clicked off of it. I did the one thing that I shouldn't done, I clicked on the comments. I just wanted to see what everyone was saying.

@tjeffersonxmadison- I saw Lin posting about him on his twitter. Him and Seb are so cute!

@livelaughlovehammy1- Why does it matter? This headline is stupid. Lin says that he wants to keep his family private. Delete it.

I love Hamilton fans.

@rueleighlove- okay but Seb and this "mystery kid" are so cute together. Like Lin posts photos of the two of them (well the back of their heads) and they are so cute.

@isaiahmedriand- I saw Lin walking into the theater with him yesterday. I didn't really see his face, but he was wearing a gray hoodie and flannel thing. He is very stylish.

I stopped looking at the comments after that. I know the farther you scroll down, the more hate you see, and I don't need that for my spirit right now.

I made my way out of my room and into the living room. Lin was working on his laptop, and Vanessa was hanging decorations for tonight's New Years Eve party. "Do you need any help?" I asked Vanessa. "No, I'm okay. But thank you," she said and smiled at me.

I went over to Lin and sat down right next to him. "What ya working on?" I said and rested my head on his shoulder. He laughed a little bit at my actions. "Just responding to some emails," he responded. He moved his arm to where my head was now resting on his chest, and his arm was resting around me.

"Did you see the thing I sent you?" I questioned as I looked up at him. "Yeah," he sighed. A little bit. "It's up to you if you want to say anything about it. No pressure to say or do anything you don't want to do," he smiled back at me.

After a few minutes I spoke again, "I'm tired," I said as I snuggled closer into his chest. "Take a nap. I'll be here," he pulled me closer. I shut my eyes and let the sleep take over me.

Vanessa's POV

I looked over at the now happily sleeping teen and awake husband on the plush couch and smiled. Something that was so pure needed to be captured. Saved forever. I took a picture of the two of them for memories. This was the first time that this has happened. I know Sam has been pretty closed off, but this is showing he is warming up to us and I couldn't be happier.
