Chapter 36. Bisexual

February has come and it's so cold. My birthday is in two days. It's on the tenth. No one knows. I'll be fifteen finally. I'll probably just celebrate in my brain and keep it pushing. There is no need to make a big deal of it.

It's Monday so Lin is off today. Unfortunately I'm not. School is so boring. But at least I have my friends. And I have rehearsal after school today, along with every other day. So my days are long. Cody gets me through though.
Him and I have been hanging out almost everyday. I told him I was trans and bisexual last week. That conversation was interesting. He was super sweet and supportive though.

I honestly have a little crush on him. He can never know though. Besides, he's straight.

Anyways. He is coming over after I get done with rehearsal today. I'm so excited!!

Anyways, I have to pay attention now.

"Okay everyone have a good night. I will see the main cast tomorrow. Ensemble , take your day off tomorrow and get some sleep and catch up on homework," Mrs Violet said as she dismissed us from our rehearsal. Being a lead is not for the weak. Most of my lines are memorized though because of Lin. He insisted that we take time after I get home from rehearsal to go over lines. I've cried more than once.

I walked out of the theater with my friends, us all talking about the show and how long rehearsal was today.

I stopped when I saw Cody standing by his car in the parking lot, he smiled at me and waved me over. My friends see me stop. "Ooooo. Sam has a crush on the boy," Jada snickered. We have had talks about my little crush. "Go get the boy," Logan pushed. I looked back at Aniyah and she had a look of approval on her. We broke up a while ago, but still feel a little bad.

I laughed and left my friends and walked over to Cody.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him with a smile.
"Picking you up, what else would I be doing?" He laughed and opened the car door.
I got into the passenger side and sat down. His car wasn't anything fancy, but it was nice for a first car.
"We are hanging out at your house right?" He asked as he put the key in the ignition. I just nodded.
I tried my hardest to stifle the blush that was in my face.

Cody put his hand on my knee as he drove. I internally screamed at it.

We arrived at the apartment and I put the key in the door. I opened it and saw Lin on his usual spot on the couch, Sebastian playing with trains on the floor, and Vanessa was making dinner. But Someone else was there next to Lin in the living room. It was Groff. Why is he here?

Sebastian saw me immediately and came running to me. I picked up the boy and gave him a hug. He immediately started grabbing for Cody. I'm pretty sure he likes Cody more than he likes me.

"Hi buddy," Cody said, taking Seb from my arms. He gave him a hug and started to talk to him.
"Hey," I said to Lin and Groff, along with giving a wave to Vanessa.
"Hey kid, how was rehearsal?" Lin asked, patting a seat next to him, signaling me to sit down.
Cody and I walked into the living room; I took a seat next to Lin, and Cody sat on the floor with Seb.

"Hello Mr. Miranda," Cody greeted respectfully

"Rehearsal was good. We did a lot of dancing because we had the ensemble there today," I said and took my shoes off.
"Groff, how come you're here?" I asked with the most respectful tone.
"Lin and I were working on something," he replied with a smile.

They love to have secret work sessions that I still am not allowed to know about. They have both been sort of annoying about this so-called "project" they are working on. I try not to ask questions around here.
