Luna's POV
I am in Team JNPR's room because Nora invited me over so we can study all together. We studied for a few hours before Nora got tired of it and started jumping on her bed. I asked Ren to brush and braid my hair witch he smiled at me and said yes.
"How come Jaune gets home so late?" Nora asked still jumping on the bed.
"He's become rather scarce since he's been fractionizing with Cardin." Ren says as I read my book but the stop and Ren puts my braid to the side and he taps my head. I lean back into him and continue to read.
"Thats weird. Doesn't he knows we have a filed trip tomorrow? We need our rest!!" Nora asked as she then does a twist and lands on her back in her bed.
"I'm sure our leader knows exactly what he's doing." Pyrrha says looking out the window as I look at the alarm clock on her desk.
"Oh gosh It's late. I should probobly leave." I say as I get up and start to pack up my stuff.
"Luna just leave your stuff here. You can come get it after out field trip." Pyrrha tells me as she smiles at me.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Yes. Now go get some rest." Pyrrha tells me.
"Thank you." I tell her as I go and hug Nora then Ren and lastly her. " Goodnight guys." I say as they all say goodnight. As I walk out of the room I see Jaune and Ruby out side.
"Hi Ruby. Hi Jaune." I say.
"Hi Luna!" Ruby says as I go stand next to her.
"So Jaune where have you been lately?" Ruby asked him.
"I-Uhh." Jaune starts but then looks down. "I messed up. I did something I shouldn't have and now Cardin's got me on a leash and Pyrrha wont even talk to me. I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea." Jaune says as he slides down the wall. "I'm a falier." Me and Ruby look at eachother and smile as were thinking the same thing.
"Nope." We both say at the same time.
"Nope?" Jaune ask confused.
"Nope." I say with a smile.
"Your a leader now Jaune. Your not alowed to be a failer." Ruby says.
"But what if I'm a failer at being a leader?" Jaune says. I touch my chin.
"Nope." I say.
"You know you two are not the easiest people to talk to about this kind of stuff." Jaune tells us and we both sit on each side of him.
"Nope." We both say at the same time again as Jaune leans more into the wall and sighs.
"Maybe you were a failer when you were a kid. Maybe you were a failer the first day we met" I say as Jaune sighs.
"But you can't be one now. You know why?" Ruby asks him.
"Uhh- Because-." Jaune starts but then gets cut off by Ruby.
"Because it isn't just about you any more. You got a Team now Jaune. We all do." She says pointing to the three of us. "And It we fail. We'll just be brining them down with us. We need to put our teammates first."
"And our self's second." I step in as Me and Ruby stand up.
"Your team deserves a great leader Jaune. And I think that can be you. Have a good night Jaune. You too Luna." Ruby says as she walks into her room.
"You know. When I first met you. I thought you were a......Strange person." I say as Jaune sighs. "But I got to know you. And you are the most kind amazing helpful person ever. You care for you team just like I care for them." I tell him as he smiles at me. "And I want to thank you for caring for my siblings and for Pyrrha. You and Pyrrha have become like my family Jaune."
"You really mean that?" He asks me.
"With all my heart. Goodnight Jaune. Sleep good." I say as I smile at him and walk back to my dorm. I open the door to find Nova and Opal asleep but Daphne still awake in her pj's.
"You didn't have to wait for me Daph." I tell her.
"Yes I did. Now go get changed." She tells me and she throws my PJ's at me and smile before climbing up into her bed. I changed in the bathroom and come back into the room to find Daphne asleep. I follow after her and get into my bed and fall asleep.
The next day we all got up early and headed out the door to where Professor Goodwitch told us to meet. Teams RWBY, JNPR, CRDL and LODN All followed Professor Goodwitch into the forest. As we walk around we look at the beautiful red trees and grass looking at how amazing it is.
"Yes students. The forest of forever fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside these forest and I'm here to make sure that none of you die while doing so. Each of you is supposed to gather one jar of red sap. How ever this forest is full of the creatures of Grimm. So be sure to stay by your Team mates we will radevue back here at 4 O'clock. Have fun." Professor Goodwitch says and my team, Team RWBY and Team jNPR start walking one way as Team CRDL start walking another way with Cardin dragging Jaune. We get to a good place as we all start collecting tree sap me drinking a little bit as I fill mine up. In watch as Ren fills one up and hands it to Nora and Ren fills up the other one Nora drinks the whole first one. I laugh as Ren looks back and glares at Nora. I go over and stand next to Pyrrha and smile as we both start filling up another Jar.
Jaune's POV
Cardin drags me up a hill after I filled up 6 Jars of tree sap. We all get low to see Team RWBY, LODN and My team filling up jars.
"Cardin whats going on?" I ask him.
"Payback." He says as he looks at Pyrrha and Luna.
"Pyrrha and Luna." I say. "What are you--" I start before I get cut off.
"Those are the girls red and blue hair know it all's think' there so smart." Cardin says before he pulls out the box of reindeer wasps. "Alright boys. Last night Jaune here was able to round up a whole box of reindeer wasps. And know were going to put'em to work." He says as one of his Teammates pats me on the sholder. "Know according to one of the essays you wrote for me last week these dusty things love sweets. I think It's time we teach them a thing or two." He says before helping me up. and shoving one of the sap jars in my hand. "And your going to do it."
"Do what?" I ask.
"Hit them with the sap. Either that or I'll have a chat with Goodwitch and you'll be on the first air ship out of Beacon." He tells me as I start to aim at the two girls before I watch them turn around and smile at eachother.
"No." I say as I put my hand with the sap down.
"What did you say?" Cardin asked me.
"I said. No." I say again as I throw it at him the sap getting all over him.
"Oh-oh. You've done it now." Cardin says as he grabs me.
