Luna's POV
"I-I hurt you. Your knee." I mumble as he smirks. "What is going on?" I ask as he doesn't answer.
"Fighters are you ready? Three. Two. One. Begin!" I hear Professor Oobleck's voice as My eyes widen a bit.
"Show time." Mercury says as he comes at me. I step out of the way going to kick him, but he blocks my foot kicking me in my stomach. I grab my scroll going to call Daphne but Mercury shots the scroll out of my hands.
"Let's keep this between us lovers." He says as I grit my teeth. He goes to kick me in the face as I move out of the way right before he could. My arm gets grabbed as I get slammed into the ground. I feel something my me change as Mercury screams out in pain. I put my hands up my eyes glowing red as I move around the water, blood in his arms. I move my hands in a fast outward motion snapping his arm.
"Go to hell." I kick him in his face. Before he can regain his balance I uppercut him running past him. I turn the corner stopping on my heals as tears begin to flood my vision. Penny's dead body on the ground cut in pieces as Pyrrha stands there horrified. I fall to my knees as I look at the seen in front of me. The screens glitch as the broadcast's changes.
"This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children. To men who claim to be our guardians. But are, in reality nothing more than men. Our academies headmasters wield more power than most armies. And one audacious enough to control both. They cling to this power in the name of peace. And yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl. I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference. And what, I ask you, Is Ozpin teaching his students? First a dismemberment, now this? Huntsman and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither. Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded their streets. Or perhaps, this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting Kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is and who is wrong, but I know that the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our Kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable. Our Kingdoms are on the brink of war, yet we, the citizens are left in the dark. So, I ask you, when the shots are fired, who do you think you can trust?"
After the woman over the speakers was done talking. (FINALY) Grimm sirens start blaring as I stand up. "Alert incoming Grimm attack. Threat Level: 9. Please seek shelter in calm and orderly manner."
"Ladies and Gentlemen please there is no need for panic." I hear Ironwoods voice over the speakers. A giant Nevermore than screeches. I turn running down the stairs trying to get to Pyrrha.
