Luna's POV
"Salam can't be killed. You all herd her too, right?" Yang asks as everyone surrounds Oscar who is on his knees in tears.
"I-"
"There was so much you haven't told us!!" Yang cuts Ozpin off. "How could you think that was okay!?!"
"Professor." Ruby says making Ozpin look up at her. "What is your plan to defeat Salam?"
"I..............................Don't have one." Ozpin says. I look down in fear. Qrow then runs up and punches Oscar/Ozpin in the face knocking him into a tree.
"Qrow!!" I scream out but he doesn't listen.
"No one wanted me. I was cursed..........I gave my life to you because you gave me a place in this world. I thought I was finally doing some good." Qrow says pissed and hurt.
"But you are." Ozpin try's too say.
"Meeting you. Was the worst luck of my life." Qrow says. My eyes widen, and tears start to spill down my face again.
"Maybe your right." Ozpin says as his eyes glow and Oscar comes back.
"What happened?" Ruby asks looking at Oscar.
"He's gone." Oscar says looking at his hands.
"THAT BASTERD Tell him we're not done yet!!" Yang yells.
"No. This I-is d-different he's gone. I-it's like he's locked himself deep inside my head. Our head?" Oscar says as he then grabs his head. "I hate this! I want it to stop!"
"He just left us?" Weiss asks looking at Ruby.
"What are we goanna do now?" Blake asks.
"ENOUGH!" I scream having enough of all of this. Everyone turns around and looks at me with wide eyes.
"We need to get a move on. It will be dark before we know it and every one of you is spewing negativity." Maria says as she walks over to Oscar and helps him up. "There's a trail over there. Trails usually led somewhere."
"Lady, I don't know who you think you are but-"
"Stop!!" I yell at Yang as I look her dead in the eye. "I get this is all difficult and this is all completely hard to understand overall, but you need to get over yourself because this isn't just about you right now Yang! We're all standing here out in the cold and if we don't get moving Maria is right, we could die and personally I don't feel like dying right now so get your ass off your high horse and let's get walking." I say to her. She looks at me with anger in her eyes but then looks down.
"I get your all upset. I'm still coming to terms that this is humanity's second time around. But. If we don't move, we die. And I'll be dammed if I've lived this long just to die out here in the cold!" Maria says as she starts walking up the trail.
"They're right." Ruby says. "Come on." We all start walking around and picking up everything that we can to take with us. I grab my bag that I found on the ground next to Oscar's. As I pick my bag up, I see Ozpin's cane underneath it. I pick it up and dust it off a bit before walking over to Oscar. I extend my hand with the cane out to him. He puts one of his hands on the cane.
"I'm just goanna be another one of his lives. Aren't I?" Oscar asks as I put my hand on his.
"Of course not. Your you're own person." I say with a smile.
"Don't lie to him Luna. You we're raised better than that." Qrow says as my smile drops. Oscar takes the cane from my hand and walks of. I follow after him but stay a few feet behind him.
We all have been walking in the snow and up this path for a while now. I've started to lose feeling in my hands and feet.
"It doesn't look like this is goanna let up." Qrow says talking about the weather.
"I just want to get this stupid Relic to Atlas." Blake says upset.
"Let's hope we don't half to walk all the way there." Weiss says with an eye roll.
"I thought Trails led somewhere." Yang says to Maria as she continues to push her bike with Maria on it.
"Do you have anything better to do than to harass a defenseless old lady?" Maria asks. I smile a little bit.
"Everyone quiet." Ruby says as we all stop walking. "Do you hear that?" She asks. I listen in and I start to hear squeaking. Ruby starts to walk forward as we follow behind. We all walk up the trail to see a gate squeaking while going back and forth. And past that gate. A house. Ruby walks up and stops the gate as Blake says.
"Well. At least one good thing happened today."
"It looks abandoned." Weiss says as I look around.
"It's still better than this." I say putting my hand out to the snow that is falling on us.
"Come on. I think we can all use some rest." Qrow says. He grabs the gate, and we all walk through.
