So, I don't know if these pop up again if I correct any spelling or grammar mistakes after publishing the chapter. In case they do: I just corrected some little things, don't be confused :)

Taylor caught herself smiling widely looking down at the bracelet in her hands. He had really put his phone number on a friendship bracelet just like he had said it in his podcast. Taylor didn't believe him when she had first seen the clip. But only a few days later, Tree had given her an envelope before she had left the office. That was about an hour ago and now Taylor had opened the envelope and found the bracelet. Travis Kelce didn't just tell a story to get attention on his podcast. Maybe she was a bit biased when it came to people mentioning her name in seemingly unnecessary moments. Most of the time it was just to get attention but this time, it seemed like he meant it.

She wasn't sure what to do about that. How did he even get it to her now? Did Tree help him? She had given her the envelope and there was no name on it, so it couldn't have been a normal letter. Spinning the bracelet in her hand, she thought about what to do now. Should she text him? She had the go from Tree, otherwise, she would've helped him. Noone has ever stated they wanted to date her as publicly as he did. It felt strangely good. "Taylor!", Blake almost instantly picked up when she decided to call her friend first. "Blake", she said smiling. "How are you? Can you talk for a moment?", she asked. Her friend immediately got curious. "Sure, are you okay?", she wanted to know.

Then Taylor told her the whole story. "And you have the bracelet now?", Blake wanted to make sure she understood. Of course, the other one knew parts of it already through social media but she had thought the same as Taylor before and was pretty surprised now. "Yeah... It fits actually", Taylor told her audibly smiling. "Did you text him yet?", she continued to ask. "No! I... should I?", Taylor questioned. "Why not? If he's an ass you can still block him", Blake simply said. "But... what do I write?", Taylor wanted to hear her ideas. She was always a bit insecure about contacting new people. Most of them thought they kinda already knew her because of the media and that was just a strange feeling. Also, most of the people she would now call enemies had been her friends before.

"You can tell him that you got the bracelet and ask how he got it to you. Just start with something simple", Blake suggested. "Maybe", Taylor just answered. "C'mon, what do you have to lose?", her friend said. "What if he puts me on blast in his podcast again?", Taylor explained her worries. "Do you think so? Now that you got the bracelet... I kinda think he might be a good guy. Just tell him that you don't want him to talk about it if you feel safer then. If he's weird about it, you immediately know not to give him any chances at all", Blake thought out loud. Taylor was silent for a moment but finally agreed. She didn't have much to lose. Even if he would publicly talk about it again, there wouldn't be much to say.

They talked about it a little longer but when it was all silent again after the call, Taylor looked down at the bracelet. She didn't put it down once. So she typed the number in her phone. "Travis Kelce", she saved for now with a picture of the bracelet. Hesitating again, she opened a chat. "Hi, it's Taylor. Your bracelet found its way to me. Thanks for the effort, I really like it and it fits perfectly. How did you get it here, I thought they didn't let you in?", she put a picture of the bracelet with it to prove that it was her without having to take a selfie now. Then she forced herself to put the phone down and leave it for now to get some food. She was pretty nervous about this text even though she wouldn't have admitted that.

"Is this real? I didn't think this would work. I asked your security that day and I honestly thought it would just end up in a trash can", Travis' answer was waiting for her when she came back. Well, she could understand that he had thought that. There was probably a bunch of stuff that people gave to her security because they didn't let them in. "Seems like you met my best employees ;)", she joked nervously. Hopefully, he would understand her humor. "Lucky me. Now that I can tell you not via a podcast, your concert was insane! How do you even do that?", he asked. Taylor immediately blushed. She heard that a lot but it still felt good to hear it from people who could at least understand the athletic effort that went into all that. And he seemed so genuine about it too. "Thank you. I could tell you in a call someday?", she suggested instantly overthinking it after sending the message. But he was already typing an answer. "I'd like to hear it. I'm free most evenings after 7", he explained. Taylor couldn't hold back a short happy scream. Why was she so happy about this? It wasn't like she wanted anything from him. She didn't even know him. But she sent him a day and time she would have time too and they agreed on a video call.

Of course, Taylor updated Blake later and she immediately called her again to ask questions. "So, is he nice?", was the first one. Taylor smiled slightly. "We both just wrote like three messages or something. But for now, yes. He didn't fuck up yet", she explained jokingly. "I hope it stays that way", Blake went with the joke. "Me too", her friend sighed. "Tay, don't overthink it already. Just tell me when the call will be and where are you at that time?", she tried to distract her a little. So Taylor told her at which tour stop she was going to be at and they ended up planning how to go about the video call date thing. They even planned what Taylor could wear for it. The two women had a great time talking until it was time to sleep for both of them.

So this is the first chapter and I hope you like it!
It's an intro chapter of course and I noticed that my chapters tend to get longer as the story is getting longer. So hang in there :)
