I wanna see you again

Taylor woke up feeling warm and safe. It took her a moment to realize that she was still in Travis' arms. She remembered what happened tonight and just got more tingly. He wanted to see where this could go. He was honestly thinking about being with her. And he held her the whole night. It was the first time Taylor woke up in the arms of someone who wasn't her boyfriend yet without having sex the night before. That was a weird thought but it also felt special. Carefully, she turned around in his arms to look at him. Travis was just waking up and immediately grinned at her with a slight blush when he saw her face. "Good morning", she said caressing his cheek before kissing him softly. He smiled into the kiss almost not believing that this wasn't a dream. "Good fucking morning", he mumbled making her laugh. "Sorry", he giggled with her but Taylor just cuddled up against him still giggling a bit.

"I guess we have to get up", he mentioned a few minutes later. "I don't want to", she whispered as if it was a secret. He kissed her forehead to make her look up. She blushed once more. "I wanna see you again as soon as you have time for me. I'll come to wherever you are", he told her. She couldn't believe her ears. "Don't say that", she mumbled embarrassed. "I... I mean that", he stuttered. They looked at each other in silence for a moment. "You're insane", she finally said. "Mainly, I'm actually hungry right now", he joked making her laugh.

So they opted for breakfast and got up. "You know, I kinda really meant that. I wanna see you again. And... not like in half a year", he repeated. She took a moment to take a sip of her coffee. "We won't go unnoticed then", she said. "Oh, who cares? Sooner or later that will happen", he just said getting a bit frustrated because she mentioned that again. She felt his frustration but she couldn't calm her fears down right now. They just looked at each other in silence. "I'm sorry", they said at the same time before instantly laughing about that. "I don't know what it is like and I shouldn't push you, I'm sorry", he apologized surprising her one more time. He understood that he was wrong and instantly apologized. It was sad that it did but that felt new. "It's fine. I mean... I'm just really anxious sometimes", she admitted embarrassed. „But you have reasons for that. You're in this for most of your life. I just... I really don't care much about what people say or think about me and I can't do more than tell you that", he explained calmly. She sighed before nodding.

"Okay, I... I really wanna see you too, so... I guess we have no choice anyway. Just... we will be perceived as a couple then but... I mean... are we?", she asked stuttering insecurely. He smiled at her. "I'd be happy to call you my girlfriend. Even if no one knows for now", he stated. She couldn't help but smile widely too. "It doesn't have to be no one. Just... not everyone?", she said. "That line is thin in your life, hm?", he asked making her sigh again. "I mean... It's either only closest family and a few friends or the whole world", she admitted. "I'll probably only talk to Jason", he told her. "I can't tell you who you can trust. I just have to trust you", she said. "It's just gonna be my brother for now. I wanna play safe too", he repeated. Taylor nodded and took the last bite of her breakfast.

Travis managed to lighten the mood a little after that but he had to leave soon, so he had to pack his bag. Taylor cleaned up the kitchen and sat down there afterward. She had a boyfriend again. That was way sooner than she had expected but she was pretty sure that he wouldn't be the problem. Her own fears would more likely ruin it. "I'm ready to go", Travis came in shortly after. "Oh, sorry. I forgot to call the driver. Give me a second", she said pulling out her phone. While she texted her employee, Travis snuck up to her putting an arm around her waist to pull her into his embrace. She giggled snuggling closer. "I still can't believe it", he whispered into her ear. She finished her text and looked up with red cheeks not knowing what to say. But she didn't have to say anything because he just kissed her.

"Don't worry too much, okay? We'll figure it out. I'm not gonna just run and hide as soon as I hear someone talking about me or us", he assured her before he left. "I'll try", she just smiled. He already knew her pretty well. They stood in the hallway and he was ready to go. "I'll miss this", he smiled after kissing her again. "Me too", she said before they finally said their goodbyes. Taylor closed the door behind him hoping that he could at least leave unnoticed today. Before she could panic about it all, she decided to call Blake and update her. She was just really good at calming her down and grounding her.
