"I'm so sorry, I can't be there", Travis told Taylor on the phone a few days after the game she had visited in New York. They were talking on the phone about her movie premiere. Taylor already thought he wouldn't be able to make it when she decided to invite him but she was still a little sad. It meant that they wouldn't see each other for even longer. "It's okay, I thought so", she sighed. "I'd want to be there and support you so bad! I'm sure it's gonna be fun!", he said. "I'd love to have you there but you shouldn't miss your practice. I don't wanna be responsible for you guys not winning the next game", Taylor joked half-serious.

A few days later, it was time. Taylor just put on her blue dress after her hair and makeup was done. They took a few pictures and Taylor texted Travis one of them: "For you before the world sees it. Thank you for the flowers and the letter this morning. I miss you" Then it was time to go. She left with her team and they drove to the carpet. Nervously playing with her dress, Taylor took a concentrated deep breath. The dress was a lot. Not that she wasn't used to these kinds of outfits by now but today it just felt like a lot. Maybe it was because it was her premiere and not some event she was invited to and it made her more nervous than normal. "You got a message you might wanna read", Tree gave her her phone for a moment. She was always holding it for Taylor at events like this. Confused, Taylor took the phone. When she read Travis' name, she instantly smiled. "You look incredible! I wish I could support you today. Have fun! I miss you too", he had texted. She decided to just send him a quick heart and then give Tree the phone back. Tree just smiled silently about what she just witnessed. She hadn't seen Taylor that happy in a long time and she also hadn't seen a partner of her being as supportive as Travis was.

With Travis' support in mind, it was easier to get out of the car, and from that point on, Taylor could just have fun. She was celebrating with her fans taking pictures, giving autographs, and then singing and dancing in the cinema. Of course, there was an after party too but Taylor decided to stay mostly sober tonight. She had to play concerts too soon to get drunk every couple of days. It was still a really fun night even though it wasn't the longest. Back at her place, there was another little package waiting for her. A lot of people had given her presents today. PR presents from businesses, flowers from friends, bigger and more thoughtful things from family and closest friends. The little box on her bed made her a little anxious because she had found stuff like that from stalkers before but Taylor took a deep breath and decided to open the box before panicking.

There was a subtle silver chain in it and a letter. Still careful, Taylor opened the letter. Before she started to read, she checked for a name at the bottom and was instantly relieved because she also recognized his handwriting from the letter in the morning. She struggled to read some of the words and even found a little spelling mistake. Despite that, Travis was surprisingly good at finding the right words. He told her how sad he was that he couldn't be there and that he was proud of her. Travis also mentioned that he thought about giving her the chain in the morning with the first letter but he didn't want to pressure her to wear it. Taylor smiled at how much he thought about this. She couldn't be happier right now. A little happy scream left her mouth while she fell onto her bed grinning like an idiot. "I'm so happy", she said silently to herself. "God and I really am in love", she recognized.

"The chain is so beautiful. I love it! And I definitely would've worn it today. Thank you so much! I can't wait to see you tomorrow", she quickly texted Travis again before going to bed. She would be on her way to Kansas in only a few hours, so she tried to get at least some sleep. This time, she could stay for a while longer because she was already on her break before she would go to Buenos Aires soon. Taylor was a little nervous about that but she also wanted to see how it would go. They planned for a week because she had a lot to do next to the tour. She still hadn't told Travis that she was working on a new album working through everything that has gone down in her life over the last months and years. Maybe there would be time to talk about stuff like that when they would hang around a little more often. She would be alone at his place when he had practice but they would be together every day for at least a few hours and she missed him so much at this point that it would definitely be worth it.
