The next morning, Taylor woke up fairly early and snuck out of the bedroom to prepare breakfast for everyone. Jason and Kylie had stayed in the guest room, so there was a bit more to prepare than just for two people. "Good morning", Kylie entered the kitchen only a little later. Taylor turned around surprised. "Good morning. Would you like a coffee? Why are you up already?", she asked already walking over to the coffee machine. "That would be great. The kids are usually up at this time, I guess it's just normal now", she shrugged. "Can I help with something?", Kylie then asked. "Ahm... sure", Taylor smiled and so they continued to make breakfast together. "When your kids are up this early... when do they usually go to bed?", Taylor asked trying to find out more about mom-life. She had a couple of friends who had families now and she could definitely see herself there not too long in the future. "There's a nap at noon for two of them. Other than that... somewhere between five and eight pm we try to get them to sleep", Kylie explained.

"Why do you ask?", she wanted to know even though she had an idea. "Just... I'd love to... have that too sometime", Taylor mumbled insecurely. "Did you talk about children?", Kylie asked knowing how Travis was around his nieces. "Not really. Just... that we both want that", Taylor explained. "But I mean... I'm not twenty anymore... We can't wait forever", she added openly. "Well, but you probably don't want to have five of these little action junkies. I'm sure you'll find your time", Kylie smiled encouragingly. Taylor nodded thoughtfully. "I always thought like... Three is a lot when I want to continue doing what I'm doing but I love my brother so much that I'd love for my children to have that too. So... two would be the ideal wish-full thinking kinda thing", she continued.

"I can see that. But, I mean whatever you do, Travis is gonna be there too. You don't have to hold it all together alone. I had that thought too when our third one was on the way. But as messy and chaotic as it is sometimes, Jason and I are a team and I feel like we're a good one. And considering that Travis is the sweetest with our girls, you'd be a good team too", Kylie said while they finished their preparations. Taylor sighed kinda relieved at how the conversation had gone. "Thank you. Really. I'm sure, I'll talk to you more about all this stuff", she said. "Of course! Let me give you my number so we finally don't have to wait until our men get us together, hm?", Kylie suggested. Taylor agreed and so they connected via their phones too.

"Can I ask you something else?", Taylor then remembered a different topic. "Sure", Kylie smiled. They carried everything to the table and sat down then. "How do you deal with... like... When Jason has a game, he could get hurt. I know it's usually nothing severe and it happens sometimes but... yeah" Taylor carefully said. "Oh, yeah, I mean... You'll probably always be worried when he falls or when all these big guys crash into each other but it's really rare that someone ends up with an injury so bad that it would affect you for longer than a couple of months. And you get used to it a little bit. Make sure Travis has you on his list of people to notify in case something does happen. If he doesn't, you can't get information from any doctors and stuff. We had that once in the beginning and it's really not cool. Other than that... maybe work out some signs he can give easily to show you he's okay or something. Like, Jason and I have worked out a little list of "if he does this, he'll get up in a second, if he does that he's hurt more, and if he does that you should pack your stuff for the hospital already" and luckily, we never needed the last one but it helps", she explained.

Taylor nodded and made mental notes to talk about these things specifically with Travis. But then they got interrupted by him already. "Good morning beautiful", he smiled bending down to kiss her. "Good morning Kylie", he then added making both women smile. "I assume my brother is still knocked out?", he asked looking at Kylie who nodded at him. "It was a long day for the dad who actually had to babysit alone yesterday morning", she explained. "Oh, but they didn't burn the house down?", Travis smiled pulling a chair closer to Taylor to sit down next to her and take her hand. "Surprisingly, they didn't even make that big of a mess when they tried to bake cookies", she said. "Tried to bake?", Taylor noticed her words. "Yeah, Jason put on the oven but not the temperature. They basically let the fan blow dry the dough but that was it", Kylie laughed making the other two laugh too.

"Oh, I hope I can do that sorta shit too someday", Travis sighed making Taylor look at him surprised.  Kylie had heard him say things like that before but she smiled at the other woman. "I'd love to see it", Taylor said blushing a little. She had never had anyone say things like that so openly around other people. And Travis didn't even seem to be that nervous. There was a slight red on his face too but he squeezed her hand smiling widely. "Good morning in the morning!", Jason then entered the room enthusiastically making them all chuckle.

They finally had breakfast then and continued to talk about the three girls Kylie and Jason had left at home. Travis and Taylor later cleared the table together assuring their guests that they wouldn't need to help. "I'd really like to see you bake cookies with our children someday", Taylor mumbled when they had a moment alone in the kitchen. Travis smiled at her pulling her in for a hug. "That just slipped out of my mouth earlier. We kinda said we both want kids, so I hope that was okay?", he wanted to be sure. "Yes! More than okay! I... I think I need to hear things like that around people sometimes to really believe it", she admitted leaning against him. "Well, I definitely like the idea of some mini-versions of us around here", he assured her again. "I... I don't know if... I mean I'm not getting younger", she stuttered hearing him say "some" before.

"Hey, I won't pressure you into anything. When we're ready, we'll know. And if it's three like Jason and Kylie or just one, I'll love them. And even if we, for whatever reason, won't be able to have kids at all, I still love you. I love you for you, not for what you could probably give me. Would I be sad? Maybe. But I know you want this too and you'd be just as sad if it wouldn't work out. I'd be stupid to blame you and even more stupid to leave. You're stuck with me. No matter what", Travis said silently against her hair still holding her close. Taylor felt a wave of warmth engulfing her body. He had definitely picked up on what she had been trying to say. "I love you too", was the only thing she could answer though.

Travis turned her around in his arms to kiss her softly. Taylor smiled against his lips wrapping her arms around him and not letting go. He deepened the kiss kind of falling against the counter with her between his arms. "Mhh... Trav", she mumbled remembering Kylie and Jason in the other room. "Shh. You had three of my fingers fuck you in my lap at a party now let me kiss you", he said making her giggle but continue the kiss. "I did not want to know that", Jason said loudly interrupting them from the door. Taylor instantly pushed Travis to the side blushing bright red from embarrassment. "And we just pretend you never heard that", Travis said just as red. "Never heard what?", Kylie showed up at the door and noticed the other couple's embarrassment immediately. "Oh, Travis just said...", Jason started but got interrupted by his brother instantly: "Don't you dare!" Kylie laughed at them even though she didn't know what this was about. She had seen Taylor being insecure earlier but this type of embarrassment hinted at something very inappropriate.

"You can just tell me at home", she joked grinning at Jason. "God, please", Taylor laughed still with hot cheeks. "We have to make sure the kids aren't around", Jason told her. "Just drop it", Travis repeated his wish in different words. "I'll make sure to hold onto this secret in case I need something from you guys, don't worry", Jason joked. "Speaking of home by the way. We wanted to say goodbye and leave soon", he added to finally explain why he had even come to the kitchen. "Sure. Do you need anything for the way home?", Taylor jumped onto the new topic immediately. "I think we're good. Bags are packed. We just have to say bye", Kylie smiled and so they hugged and said goodbye for now before Travis' brother and his wife left to go home again.

"That was so embarrassing!", Taylor said when the door closed behind them. "It would've been way more embarrassing if someone had caught us in the act that night, just saying", Travis said making her blush again. "I know, it's stupid", she mumbled but he just hugged her again. "Hey, it was pretty exciting too and I had an eye out for people who might have been watching", he said. "But we should really be careful. Never do anything remotely close to that when kids are in the same house, okay? Even if there'd be a door in between", Taylor wanted to make sure. "Yeah! Of course! That'd be weird!", he immediately agreed on that boundary. He wouldn't even want to have to explain to his nieces why adults liked to kiss. And that was something they surely had seen already simply by existing around their parents. Maybe he'd leave that kind of question to Taylor if they ever had children. She was so much better with words.
