At night, Travis woke up again. He had expected that but now he lay there, Taylor in his arms sleeping. His head was processing the conversation with her security guard. Looking down at her, he questioned how she managed to live like that since she had been so young. After this conversation, he felt like every step she took must feel scary. Like there were threats everywhere. And suddenly he understood why she sometimes seemed so overly anxious. It wasn't just the people she loved or had loved who had influenced her to be that way. The people who hated her did too and maybe even more so.

Travis sighed intuitively pulling her closer. Her scent calmed his nerves and he closed his eyes trying to sleep some more. But his head wouldn't let him. He just lay there continuing to go through some situations he had been through with her. She had been at his games, he had been at her concert. They had been at some parties after these things. She must be really good at blocking out all the dangers around her. Or maybe she learned to trust her security guards. He would have to learn that too. Both of these things. When he opened his eyes again, it started to become brighter outside already. He looked down at her just mesmerized by her soft-looking skin, the form of her lips, and her hair falling into her face. Carefully, he brushed a strand of hair out of her face softly caressing her cheek. "Pretty angel", he whispered to himself feeling so tingly when realizing that she chose to be with him.

A good while later, Taylor opened her eyes blinking a couple of times before being able to focus on him. "Good morning beautiful", he smiled. "How long have you been up?", she asked after yawning once because she noticed his tired eyes. "A while. Have been thinking", he honestly told her. "I said you could wake me up", she complained. "But I was happy just looking at you", he answered smiling softly at her. "Do you have to leave soon?", she sighed remembering that his practice would normally start soon. "It's my off day", he explained, smiling at her. Taylor instantly smiled at him too. "I got a whole day with you?", she wanted to be sure. "Well, I have to get some stuff done later but I don't have to leave the house", he explained. She giggled happily making him chuckle too while she was literally climbing onto him. He just laughed wrapping his arms around her while she got comfortable with her face snuggled into the crook of his neck.

It took them another while until they got out of bed to get breakfast. "I would get some work done after breakfast so that we have the rest of the day for us", Travis suggested. Taylor nodded sipping at her coffee. "I'll get my laptop out too then", she agreed. "Tree already asked for some things because they should be done by now but the whole TIME magazine thing came unexpected", she told him. "What do you have to do? Can you talk about it?", he asked interested. She nodded again. "It's about the new album already. We've been talking concepts and stuff. I know what I want but there's still so many options on how to get there", she explained. "Do you know the release date already?", Travis wanted to know. "Yeah, for a while actually. Sorry, I could've told you. It should be April 19th next year", she said. They continued to talk while eating and then cleaned up together before getting to work.

A few hours later, Travis shut down his laptop and left his office. Taylor had been sitting at the dining table because they didn't want to distract each other. "Hey, beautiful. Are you done soon?", he asked her waiting in the doorway for an answer. "Hm? Ahm, I might need another minute", she looked up. "I wanted to think about the photo scenes for the album. Like the vibes. And now I ended up building a mood board for the music video of the first single", she explained making Travis chuckle. Her creative mind was so fascinating to him. "You wanna see?", she decided to ask. Travis immediately walked up to her looking at her screen. He was met with a lot of black and white. Wedding dresses that looked just a little off and on the other side black big dresses. Pictures of pills, needles, and other medical stuff. It was honestly a little disturbing.
