The next few days, Taylor had a lot to prepare for the release of "1989 Taylor's Version" There were only a couple of days left and she would attend another one of Travis' games in between. Until then, he was in Kansas while Taylor stayed in New York for work. It was only five days but she missed him even the first night she had to sleep in her bed alone. They talked on the phone but it wasn't the same. She knew he would visit the houses he was interested in tomorrow too and she honestly was excited for him. It was better now that she knew that he really didn't want to push her into anything. He wanted to move and he wanted her to feel comfortable when she would be there but they agreed on him caring about that on his own. They weren't going to move in together. It still stung that she had a panic attack over that but Taylor tried to be a bit more gentle with herself. Panic attacks happened sometimes and there was not much she could do about that.

„How was your day?", Travis asked when they talked on the second evening after he had left. "Urgh... I should've stayed in training better. The three hours were incredibly long today", she told him. Her tour was going to start again soon and she needed to get back in form. "I'm still impressed that you can just... do that. I mean the motivation is probably even harder to find at home isn't it?", Travis asked. "It is hard but I want to play my show and that's the best motivation I can get", she explained. "You'll see me more relaxed when this is all over and I might put on some weight again too", she added honestly. "Well... I hope you give yourself the time and laziness you deserve after all these shows. I'll wait for you so we can relax together", he joked not even commenting on her weight. He didn't care about that. In fact, he was happy to hear that she wanted to give herself the chance to just calm down a little. He never told her, but Travis was a bit worried that she wouldn't be able to play all these concerts. The tour started months ago and its end was still not even in sight.

"Maybe we could find some place to go on vacation together. Oh, have you been to Rhode Island yet? I have a house there and that's honestly where I stay a lot when I just want to chill and not see anyone but friends", Taylor told him. "Sounds great. I've been there before but never for long. There are some nice beaches", he said. "I think you'll like it", Taylor smiled already excited for the not-even-planned trip. "First, I'm gonna visit you in cities all over the world", Travis smiled back. Taylor blushed. They haven't talked about when he would visit her after the Super Bowl but it seemed like he'd want to see her often. "I'm already excited for Buenos Aires", she sighed. It felt so soon. "Me too. I've never been south of the equator, I think", Travis mentioned. "Really?", Taylor questioned surprised.

They went on about where they had been to in their lives but Taylor only counted countries she had actually seen more than hotel rooms and stages of. But they both needed some sleep, so they went to bed soon. Taylor felt a little ridiculous to ask but Travis agreed immediately when she wanted to stay on the phone to fall asleep. He missed her already. Taylor was the first one to close her eyes and Travis continued to watch over her until he was sure that she was deeply asleep. "I love you", he whispered into the silence before throwing her a kiss and ending the call to get some sleep too.

The next few days went on like that. Taylor had some meetings and her training scheduled while Travis was at practice most of the time. In the evening they talked on the phone and missed each other more every day. When it was time, Taylor packed her bag and went off to Kansas. Again, she wouldn't be able to meet him before the game but she would watch him play and be proud no matter how the game would end. Of course, they texted already but she turned her phone off for the flight. Sometimes, she used the flight time to just calm down and relax in silence. Especially, if there wouldn't be much silence for the next few hours afterward.

As anticipated, the stress in Kansas started right after the landing trying to dodge paparazzi as much as possible. Even if she cared less about the tabloids now, she still didn't want to give them every chance to make money off of her. At the stadium, she met a few new people in the booth but also some she already knew. It started to feel a little more normal. Taylor said hello to everyone, hugged a few friends, and just mingled until the game started. It was still incredibly exciting to watch him play and of course, Taylor's eyes lay on him more than on any other player. Every time it looked like he could've gotten hurt, she clenched a little. She got really worried sometimes. Maybe she should talk to him about that? How she could determine if he got hurt at all or if he was seriously injured. It started to get stressful worrying so much while still enjoying the game itself and its ups and downs.

It was a tight game today but in the end, the Chiefs won and Taylor celebrated with the others around her. Travis looked up at her a few times wanting to celebrate with her. But he had to take a shower first and answer a few questions from the coach, teammates, and even reporters on the way. He was glad that they had decided to just meet at the party later today. It was surprisingly crowded everywhere. That was something he wanted to talk about more with her. Her security. These games were relatively dangerous for her to attend and looking back, he couldn't believe they drove off in his convertible before. He even thought about talking to her security again and finding out some strategies and processes for certain situations. If something would ever become seriously dangerous, he didn't want to do anything wrong or stand in the way of her team.

For now, it was about celebrating the game though. They met at the restaurant with a few other team members and their families. Travis instantly pulled her into a kiss grinning happily against her lips. "I missed you so much", he whispered. Taylor felt so warm and loved as soon as his arms were wrapped around her. "I missed you too", she answered before they forced themselves to not get lost in each other and start some conversations. Taylor stayed by his side most of the time. She didn't feel like talking too much but it was okay. He had her back and not just by accident. He recognized. "Let's not stay too long today, hm?", he asked her silently. She smiled up at him nodding in agreement. Sometimes, she was still surprised by how well he already knew her and was able to read her. And she wasn't even saying anything.
