The next day, Taylor was alone at Travis' place for most of the time because he had practice. She decided to call Blake. "He said "I love you". He really said it!", Taylor told her excitedly before she even said hello. Blake laughed a little but smiled happily to herself. "I hope you did too", she wanted to know. "I... actually, I was the first one to say it", Taylor clarified. "Wow, how come?", her friend asked jokingly. Taylor knew what she meant. It wasn't her thing to be the first one if it came to trust. "I don't know... we... We had sex again and it was just so cozy and intimate afterward... I honestly thought about it before", she continued to explain with a slight blush on her face. "Okay, wait a second. You had sex "again"? You didn't tell me about your first time!", the other one complained making Taylor laugh. "I didn't know you wanted to hear about that", she giggled. "Oh, c'mon. Just because everything I knew about you and Joe was boring, doesn't mean I don't want to know what a football champion can do", Blake said still grinning. "Blake!", Taylor laughed feeling her cheeks getting more and more hot. "What? I'm just curious", she said.

Taylor ended up telling her friend a rough outline of what happened in Travis' bed before they had to say bye for the day. Shaking her head about this conversation, Taylor put her phone away. She wanted to work a little now that she had the time to, so she got her laptop and sat down on the couch again. Travis had said that she could use his desk but she didn't feel quite comfortable sitting between all of his private stuff. Maybe that would change over the next few days but for now, the couch was it. Taylor got pretty lost in her work despite the imperfect position with her MacBook in her lap. So much so, that she did not move until hours later she heard steps behind herself. She quickly turned around only to face Travis. "God, you scared me", she mumbled. "I even called your name when I came in", he laughed walking up to her.

"What have you been up to, hm?", he wanted to know starting to massage her shoulders from behind. A slight moan escaped her. She didn't realize how uncomfortable her position had been. "I got some work done. How was practice?", she asked trying to make it less obvious that she was still hiding very specific information from him. "The Tortured Poets Department" was getting closer and closer to a first full version and she still wasn't sure how to tell him that she was going to release an album that was constantly talking about her exes. How would he even react to that? Travis told her about his practice without stopping his massage once. It seemed like he had a good day. "And I bought some groceries. So we could start lesson two of Taylor teaches me how to cook if you want to", he ended his explanation. Taylor instantly smiled at his words. "I would love to. What did you buy?", she asked curiously. "Oh, just this and that. We can unpack together", he suggested accidentally letting her know that he had no plan for what to cook at all.

The couple spent the next hour in the kitchen laughing together while trying to cook. At least Travis was trying. Taylor didn't have to. She had no problem joking and cutting vegetables into perfect slices at the same time. It ended up being a vegetarian lasagna, so it had to sit in the oven for a while. "I could see myself doing this more often. Maybe I just need to learn how cooking actually works", Travis thought out loud making Taylor smile. How did he survive until now, if he didn't know how to cook? Especially as a top athlete who needed specific things. "I bet your mom would've taught you if wanted her to", Taylor winked. Travis laughed at that. "Could be. Most of the time Jason and I were running around somewhere until dinner was ready. I guess, she might've been happy to get some time for herself even if it was in the kitchen", Travis honestly said.

"Well... That's probably what it's like to be a mom", Taylor mumbled. She had thought about that before. Being a mom. Joe and her had been talking about that sometimes. Now, she was glad they had never decided to actually try. "Would you want to... have kids someday?", Travis carefully asked. He assumed she would since he had seen her with children before and she had seemed so happy around them. "Ahm... yeah... I mean. Probably not too soon but... yeah", she said starting to get some plates. „What about you?", she wanted to know trying to make it sound like a casual question. "I haven't been in a relationship where that was a question but I always kinda hope to be a dad someday", he explained helping her to set the table. Taylor smiled relieved. "I did babysit my nieces once actually. Not for long but it's been fun. Stressful but fun", he added. "Oh, I can't wait to meet them. I'm sure you're the fun uncle", she smiled at him. Travis laughed pulling her into a short hug. "I'll see when we can do that. I'm sure they'll love you", he said before kissing her.

When dinner was ready, they ate in silence for the first time in a while. It was a relaxed silence though and they were just stealing glances at each other the whole time. Taylor thought she might have something left from the dinner for her lunch the next day but Travis apparently was pretty hungry. She noted that to herself. Maybe she'd have to get used to cooking a bit more when he had practice or just in general. Today, they just cuddled on the couch for a few more hours before going to bed again. "Good night baby", he whispered making her smile. "Good night Trav", she answered. He had called her by nicknames before but this one was new. Feeling unfamiliarly small in his big bed comfortably pressed against his chest, she liked it.
