Until the Grammies, Taylor was mostly busy with practice and other planning for the next few weeks in Asia and Australia. They got the final goes for some of the things regarding her flight back to America for the Super Bowl and things like that. She also planned what to say for her album announcement. There were only a couple of people who knew about it and today, the day before the Grammy Awards, she wanted to tell Travis. "Would you tell me what got you so excited for tomorrow that you won't stop talking about it?", he asked smiling to himself. She noticed his amusement through the phone and blushed a little. "Oh, nothing. Just the announcement for The Tortoured Poets Department", she said. "What?! And you tell me that now?!", he asked. "Isn't that early enough? Also... I might do it in Japan when I don't get on stage tomorrow", she explained. "Oh, c'mon, you'll get one Grammy minimum tomorrow!", he told her convinced. "We'll see. Are you gonna watch it?", she wanted to know. "Of course! Mom's here too, we'll watch together and Jason and Kylie wanted to see it too if the girls will let them", he explained. "Really? Oh, that's so sweet", she smiled and sighed afterward because it just felt so good.

"Do I get a picture of your outfit again?", Travis asked. "I think you don't have to ask anymore. I know you like to see what's yours", she joked making him chuckle and blush. "It's gonna be a white dress and black gloves and a LOT of accessories. I got this cool necklace with a clock on it. You'll see, it fits the album so well", she rambled on excitedly. "I'm curious now. You'll look stunning anyway", he complimented her. "I miss you", she suddenly noticed. "I miss you too, Allie. But next time we meet, you'll have a few more Grammies and I'll have won another Super Bowl", he joked a little nervous at the thought of the big game.

"Are you... like do you feel confident about the game?", she wanted to know. "I mean... I do think we can make it but yeah... Of course, I'm nervous too. It feels like the whole world is watching this year more than ever", he explained. "Is that good or bad?", she questioned. "Good for the sport bad for our nerves I guess", he chuckled honestly. "You'll do great. Even if it won't work out. I'm still proud, you know that", she assured him. And it did help him to hear that. "Thank you, baby. I wish you could be there earlier", he said. "Me too. But I'll be there as soon as I can and if everything works out, I should be in time for the start of the game and maybe even early enough to text you before", she told him. "I love you", he just answered making her smile. "I love you too", she gave back. "You should sleep soon, hm? Call me tomorrow after the award show?", he asked. "Okay. Good night, Trav", she said. "Good night, Allie. Sleep well", he said his goodbye too before they ended the call to go to bed.

And when it was time, Taylor excitedly took a picture of herself in her Grammy look. "Should I?", Tree asked noticing that Taylor wasn't quite happy with the picture. "Would you?", Taylor answered with a slight blush handing her the phone. They both knew that this picture wasn't for anyone else but Travis. Her smile was for him. Tree snapped a few quick pictures before getting back to work. Taylor quickly chose one and sent it to her boyfriend with a heart emoji. There wasn't much time to text. But he answered wishing her luck and complimenting her outfit. "Okay, c'mon we gotta go", Tree then interrupted and so they made their way to the car and the carpet.

Taylor was slightly more nervous than usual at an award show because she wanted to announce her new album. The people who were right by her side were the only ones who knew next to Travis and parts of the record label. And when she got the chance to go up there and accept an award, she felt a relief combined with bubbling excitement that almost made her ramble on stage but she contained herself, got the little hint at the double album out that she had planned to give and then went backstage to post on social media. "You were incredible! And I wish I got Mom's reaction on camera! She's so excited for your album, it's really funny. Have a great evening and don't forget: Whatever they say, you're the best", Travis had texted in the meantime making her smile. "I love you, tell Donna, that I'm thankful for her support", Taylor quickly answered before work called once more.

Hours later, Taylor entered her hotel room with a sigh kicking off her heels. She felt happy. Having Travis here would be the only thing that would probably make her feel better but when she walked further into her room, she at least found a little present from him. As they had agreed on a while ago, it was blue wrapping paper and a white bow but the form was really weird. Taylor was a little tipsy at this point so she giggled at the lengthy item on her bed but she unwrapped it quickly and just smiled wider. He had packed up a white rose in wrapping paper. Or he probably even had someone else do this seemingly strange thing for him just so she wouldn't get freaked out by a rose on her bed that could theoretically be from a stalker. This was seriously so sweet to her that she almost teared up a little.

Everyone else would have thought that a rose should be obvious enough or maybe even had forgotten about her fear. But he cared enough to wrap a goddamn rose in blue paper so she would immediately see who it was coming from. "U still up?", she texted him quickly. As soon as his status changed to online, she called him via FaceTime. Travis smiled to himself and picked up. Her face popped up with the white rose held against her chest. "Hey, my beautiful poet", he joked tiredly. "Trav... thank you so much. This is so sweet", she couldn't hold back. "It's a rose, Tay and because I can't be with you, I couldn't even pick it myself", he smiled a little surprised by how emotional she was about a singular flower. "But you had someone wrap it up so I would see that it's from you! It's so cute!", she told him grinning widely.

"I wasn't sure. I thought about just like a second bow made out of blue wrapping paper but I thought it should be as clear as possible if it'd scare you otherwise", he told her noticing her eyes jumping around as if she was getting distracted by a new thing every couple of seconds. "Did you have some drinks?", he assumed that she might be a little tipsy which would be another explanation for her big emotions. "Maybe", she smiled blushing a little before giggling at him. "Okay, you should go to bed, hm? Momma went to bed hours ago", he told her. "Why didn't you?", she asked. "I was waiting in case you'd call", he explained making her blush again. She definitely had some alcohol. "You're so cute, baby", she sighed making him chuckle a little. "You're cute too. Go to sleep soon, hm? I'm gonna go to bed now too", he repeated. "Okay", she yawned. "Good night, Allie", he said knowing it would make her blush again. She just loved this nickname. "Good night, Travy", she said waving at the camera. He waved back and then they actually went to bed.
