They finally did what they wanted to do to me. They put together videos of me and Finnick over the years and are trying to get me to understand that he isn't going to hurt me. It's been like 3 days now. I still haven't seen my siblings, but I feel people's eyes watching me from the window and I can only hope it's them.
Cody pulled through and got me some paint and things to paint on. Painting and writing in the journal have been getting me through these past days. It's like a never ending cycle of the same things.
Wake up, eat breakfast, paint, weave baskets, watch videos of Finnick and I, Cody picks me up and we walk around the base, talk to Katniss or Johanna, take a shower, eat dinner, weave some more, write in my journal, and go to bed. Then the next day it's the same thing. Over and over again.
And today is the start of yet another day, except this one is different. I woke up to Cody next to me with a giant smile on his face. As expected I was terrified, but I was also concerned because I had zero idea as to why he was standing in front of my bed.
He ended up telling me that he had some exciting news and that I should start doing things to get ready for the day. Anything that takes me out of this schedule that makes it feel like a time loop I'll do it.
So that brings us to now. I'm currently fixing my hair that has now turned into a poof ball because it hasn't been taken care of in a while. I finally got it tamed a little, but there are still pieces that won't sit flat on my head.
The nerves in me are coursing because I have no idea what to expect. Are they going to bring in my siblings? Finnick? Something inside of my head clicks and I run over to the journal to write down my thoughts.
I'm mid sentence when I hear the door unlock and the creaking sound of the door opening. When I look up I see the two best things that have ever happened to me. Caspian and Maisy are walking through the door with Cody following slightly behind them.
Tears sting my eyes and the air leaves my lungs. They finally let me see them. I've missed them so much. "Caspian, Maisy." I say before walking over to them and bringing them into a tight hug. "I've missed you both so much. They wouldn't let me see you. I tried, I swear." I say, quickly.
