It's cold. So, so, cold. I'm sitting in the dark, alone. I can feel the blood dripping down the side of my head. I don't remember much after getting hit in the head. I'm sure still having an undiagnosed and untreated concussion didn't help either.

They pulled me away from wherever I was and now I'm sitting in a cold and dark room. It's not my cell because I know what that looks like in the dark now. I must've passed out afterward because they changed me out of the clothes I was in and into shorts and a tank top. It's almost like they wanted me to be cold.

I don't know where Johanna or Peeta are, but I can't think about that right now. I take a deep breath while I lean back against the cool wall.

I hear water dripping off the ceiling and onto the floor. I hear footsteps rushing around and some people giving orders. I wonder what has happened while I've been out because I have no idea how long I have been.

I try to adjust my eyes to the darkness, but the only thing I can see is the light coming from the door. It is only a little and it doesn't do much to add light to the room.

The footsteps outside seem to have disappeared and stopped all at once. It scares me. Why after so long of walking have they suddenly stopped?

The sound of the lock on the door being fiddled with takes my breath away. I use all my remaining strength to move away from where I'm sitting and into the corner furthest from the door.

The light is blinding when they open the door. A Peacekeeper in the same sickening white uniform walks into the room with one right behind him. I try to adjust my eyes to the sudden brightness and see who the man behind him is carrying.

The Peacekeeper walks up to me and pulls me up by the arm. I'm tired so I just let them take me until I look behind the Peacekeeper's shoulder and notice Peeta being dragged into the room I'm in. I start thrashing around trying to get to him.

He looks tired, beat down and bloody. I'm horrified by the site. He looks worse than he ever has before. The bags under his eyes have grown and it makes me wonder what they have had him go through.
