When I got back to district 13 I said goodbye to Cody outside of our rooms. Tonight is the first night I get to stay in the same room as Finnick since I got better and I'm so excited. I haven't slept near him since our last night in the games and now that feels like worlds away.

I gave my siblings their things that they wanted and finally being able to take those books out of the tote bag felt amazing. Why are medical books so heavy?

I smile as I put down the photos I took from the house. I want it to feel more homey here because who knows how long until we get out of district 13 if ever.

I feel a pair of arms wrap around my torso from behind me and I immediately melt into them. "Hey." Finnick whispers in my ear.
"Hey." I say smiling, turning my head to give him a kiss.

"How was it going back to District 4?" He asks.
"It felt nice. It was almost normal." I say.

Finnick must be able to tell that there is something wrong because he pulls away and faces me toward him. His hands are on my shoulders as he asks, "What else happened that you aren't telling me?"

I sigh, "The flowers you got me before we left were dead. I knew that would eventually happen, but when I went to look at them closer I saw something in them." I pause for a second to read his reaction before continuing. "Inside the flowers was a white rose that looked like it was placed there today. It was like he was waiting for us. But there was a note on the rose. It said, 'Until we meet again, Miss Benham, or should I say Mrs. Odair.'."

He's silent for a minute before he wraps me in a hug. "It's okay. He can't get us here." He whispers.

"He was in our house, Finnick. In space that should only be for us and our family." I say.
